Wonderful fragrance for after a shower.

I disliked that the fragrance smelled great when you first spray it on but then it smells different after about 20 minutes. Doesn’t blend well with my body chemistry I guess. Won’t buy again. However, the bottle is beautiful and worth the purchase price.

My dad passed away a few years ago. When I went to tell him goodbye, he told me I smelled like Gardenias. They were his favorite flower. Since then, I’d be looking for a gardenia perfume. This one has been amazing. It smells like gardenias without being overly sweet and heavy, there’s a lightness among the complexity of the notes. It’s my favorite and I will continue buying it.

Of course this could just be my 61 year old brain mis remembering. The top note, when first sprayed is a little sharp. This fades into a soft floral which is nice. Also doesn't last like an eau de parfum should. Sigh.

I was so excited to try this cologne. I have long been an admirer of Elizabeth Taylor and have searched for sometime for an affordable gardenia scent. When it arrived, I immediately opened the box and sprayed some on my wrist. BIG MISTAKE! It was by far, the worst so-called 'cologne' I have ever had the misfortune of encountering. Far from being a gardenia scented cologne, is smelled like a chemical spill, Raid and out of date generic mouthwash all combined with oven cleaner! I could not throw it away fast enough and by that I mean, outside in the garbage bin. To make this experience even more memorable, it is a non-refundable item. DO NOT BUY!!

i have about 25 high quality perfumes and i’m always looking to buy more. i came across this a week ago when i was looking for gardenia perfumes. this was one of the only highly recommended ones and i completely agree. the scent is so fresh and floral and smells exactly like your walking through a garden of gardenias. such a beautiful scent for such a low price. scent doesn’t last super long, lasts about 4-5 hours on me which is amazing for the price.

This is cheap stuff. Twenty bucks for a big bottle. I’ve got to say though, that the scent is a dead ringer for real gardenia blossoms. I’ve had gardenia shrubs in pots (very difficult to propagate and grow) so I’m very familiar with gardenia flowers lovely fragrant and heavenly scent! However, because it’s so cheap, it barely lasts more than a 1/2 hour in my experience.
