Good product, easy and quick install without removing the distributor! No need to worry about points/condensers anymore. Be sure to limit voltage to distributor as you have prior to conversion as the sensor can burn out like points do if voltage is unchecked. Read installation instructions and use ballast resistor or resistor wire as you have before.

Easy to install but you need a small puller to remove cam on the distro. Runs much smoother

Works perfect with a Blaster2 coil and MSD 6a ignition

Not gonna give it 5 stars. No optical triggered ignition is worth that. But, it does eliminate the troublesome Mallory dual points which worth the trade off. Unbelievable how quick the motor fires up now. From stone cold, it lights on the first try. Has never done that.

Quit working after 2 days won’t even try to ignite

Part came used and already put together with open package. It was completely assembled and was different part compared to the part in the picture provided during purchase. Thought I was paying for a new one, extremely dissatisfied with the product.

Returned because it was not the correct item for my engine
