Q: Why does the picture show dd cream and the description says bb cream. big difference. so what is this bb or dd? tint colors?

I think they call it dd cream because it’s dermadoctor. It is tinted but it will adjust to your natural skin tone. I love it!

Q: does it remove dark spots

Haven't used it too much. The tint is a little dark and I am fair.

Q: it this for use on dark african american skin?

Unless they are currently offering more colors, I would definitely say no. I'm considered medium beige in most brands of bb,cc,dd creams and although I love this DD cream, it is too light for me.........waiting anxiously for the intro of additional colors !
