Preferences vary on the perfect shower back brush. What is too soft for some is too firm for others. This brush combines the best of both choices with soft bristles in the middle surrounded by a row of firmer bristles. The overall feel is "medium soft" - PERFECT for me! I feel I am getting my back clean without the painful torture device feel of stiffer brushes.Some want a short handle, some want a longer handle. I find that the longer the handle is, the further it reaches, but the harder it is to control. This handle is long enough for me to reach my entire back, half from the top and half from the bottom.The grip material on the handle keeps it from twisting with wet hands but it is still a little slippery with soapy hands. The "grip ridges" circle the handle, it may be easier to keep from slipping if the "grip ridges" ran parallel with the handle or even spiraled the handle.A color matching adhesive hook is included, but is not very well thought out and may not stay attached to the wall.I would like to see more color choices. The current choices are basically "feminine colors". Guys need to keep their back clean too!

I bought one of these brushes for use on the back and neck, and was so impressed with its quality and function, that I bought a second one for my face.I cut the handle from the face version, sanded the remaining portion so the brush fits nicely in the palm of my hand. I use it maybe two or three times a week, in the shower, with neutrogena or Aveeno soaps. Seems to work equally well for both face and back cleaning, and no, it’s not too aggressive for your face. A wonderful product.

I just purchased this back brush that came with a hook to hold it. After putting the adhesive on the wall and the hook, the hook and brush fell to the ground after one use. The adhesive does not hold at all. I have contacted the company to let them know to see what they can do to resolve this issue. I will update my review after hearing back from them with a resolution. The brush itself is wonderful, but the attachment to hang it clearly does not work.UPDATE: I changed my review from a 2 star to 4 star. I reached out to the company and they are giving me a $3 refund for the faulty hook. I will still need to purchase a hood elsewhere to hold this so keep that in mind if you purchase this item.

This brush has almost everything going for it, but I have to replace it. It's soft, yet effective, and doesn't mildew. The shape is perfect for reaching down my back from the shoulder. However, the design doesn't allow it to scrub my back when I reach up from below. So I looking for a replacement.

I have been looking for a bath brush that will do the job well, will last and won't get water rot and mouldy like the wooden ones tend to do, or can survive being dropped without breaking easily. This one is a very sturdy plastic with a handle grip, and the texture of the brush bristles are just right. I only wish it were angled a little bit more to reach over the back, but all in all it does the job well and I feel it will last me a long time. The included wall hanger is a disappointment though, the two sided tape sticks well to the wall, but not to the hanger, it fell off the wall after a few hours. Perhaps the manufacturers should consider including one with a suction cup instead. A good buy nevertheless.

Used for bath and shower. the reach is ok but could be slightly better. The brush itself is a little roughbut that probably makes it better for exfoliation. The handle works good.

Love the angle of the brush head, the sturdiness of the handle, and the softness of the bristles. Immediately bought a second one. Also loved the price.

Very well made and not some flimsy brush . I just added part of an old leather shoestring for hanging the brush
