Good for treats, but not mealtime.
In a nutshell: For the average person who wants a puzzle toy for treats, you & your dog will probably love this toy. If you're looking for a puzzle toy to use to feed your dog, this may not work for you, because it holds very little food.In detail: This toy seems well constructed, good quality, I like that it's made in the USA. I also like that it's attractive & a neutral color, so I can leave it out all the time - I use it to feed my small terrier mix dog, she prefers puzzle toys to eating from her bowl. As a replacement for the blue plastic "Tornado" puzzle toy, the Sniff 'n' Spin is not ideal. The Tornado holds more food - my dog gets 1/3 cup of small kibble per meal & that fit easily in the Tornado. This toy has smaller, fewer & more shallow holes, so it can't hold as much - I fill the holes & then have to put the remainder of the food in her bowl. Also, not all of the holes can be covered at once, so you can't fill the toy with food/treats & conceal them all, which is preferable - more of a challenge for the dog. I wish I had paid the extra $15 to get the wooden "Tornado" toy, which would have been closer to the original plastic one we were replacing (it worked great, but the bright blue was so unattractive, I couldn't leave it out all the time). But on its own merit, as a treat toy, I think most people would be very pleased with the Sniff 'n' Spin.

A great puzzle for my puppies but once they get it solved be ready to reload, I use the small training treats, they are perfect for this!

Not what i expected
A little disappointed. All 3 dogs got it 1st time and doberman started chewing it afterwards. Only used 1x and gave away

Great for intellectual fun
This product is great for the dogs that need a little intellectual fun. Our dogs caught on very quickly, so it doesn't occupy their time for long, but is something different to stimulate them.

The only thing I would change is I wish there was a way to tighten it a little. It was not much of a challenge for my dog.

It's same and easy to clean up
This keeps our puppy entertained even though he figured it out fairly quickly. It's same and easy to clean up. It states "Level I" on the box but I have not found any other levels.
