Very impressive the material and information in this book, I read several types of Tarot but this is wonderful, I am so glad the author made accessible all the information about qualities and characteristics of the Orishas not often available, I have been trying to learn about this religion for the practical purpose of learning this Tarot and use it with my clients as a variation to the conventional Rider deck.I did my research in Spanish books but for some reason people involve in the Santeria religion and divination think they have to be a high ranking "priest" to read Tarot and shells, all the information in this book is not available in Cuba, Mexico or South America, the bottom line is: they protect the income coming from readings and spells .The good news for us is that any person with this deck can perform an accurate reading even if you are not a High ranking priest in Santeria as some members of that religion wanted me to believe, they even tell you the Orishas punish any person out of their religion who perform readings using Orishas, so far my readings are accurate, and believe it or not "with the help of the Orishas" :)

This is my first Tarot card deck. As a Orisha devotee this deck spoke to me. It has helped me to connect the dots after divine consultation with my Babalawo Godfather and when asking questions with my warriors and Ifa. It has helped me tremendously with being concise about my intuition. I should say this deck doesn't speak for Orisha, only Orisha can speak for Orisha to a devotee or patron. However, it helps to understand the characteristics of the orisha in the same it would for a regular major arcana part of a tarot deck. It was intimidating at first because the card explanations are honest but they help tremendously for introspection, which in this life is always the best place to start before applying the root of problems toward external forces situations. I'm going to purchase an orthodox deck for more education on the use of this kind divination tool. I would recommend (although still a beginner) to start with self-readings first.

the cards are hard to understand at first. Also it come with a book that explains each card. no need to order the other book. like I did.. Its the same except its in english and spanish..

In developing my relationship with Creator, my Higher Self and my entire Spirit Tribe, this Tarot of the Orishas is such a beautiful addition to my soul family. As always, God's timing is always perfect and I was able to ritually charge my deck on the exact day, time, hour, minute! of a very important event in my life which enriched my relationship with the deck right from the beginning. I see and feel the difference, my aché in doing my own readings.

Was excited to get this but had an issue finding some cards pages in the book as they all are not in the table of contents which I think is a must. Its challenging to do a reading when the pages is not mentioned and finding it takes time since the book is hefty. I wish it was all black orisha but it's not which I didn't mind but would prefer. Also, I tried to do 3 readings for myself and all 3 gave me a weird vibe, didn't like the energy or messages, and I usually have lots of patience being an empath, but after all of these issues and 3 back to back readings giving me a weird energy I decided to return it. For me, something is just wrong about this deck, was a cool idea but my energy didn't connect with it at all... I couldn't eve finish a damn reading smh

Absolutely great. You've really got to study this deck beforehand though it's not a walk in the park and slightly different to the Rider-Waite deck, so it's no walk in the park either it's very deep! What's really good is it takes you into the world of Orisha - although I must point out it's more Santeriá/Lucumí than it is Yoruba (there's variations in spellings such as Orisha Vs Orisá and other such variations, some are a bit weird) the colouring are questionable as there are some very European looking deities, hence why I say it's more Santeriá than Yourba. If that doesn't bother you invest in this deck as it's a very good product.
