Snuffle Mat for Dogs, 17'' x 21'' Dog Sniffing Interactive Feeding Game Boredom, Puzzle Toys Encourages Natural Foraging Skills and Stress Relief Small/Medium/Large Dogs

Out of three different snuffle rugs we tried out, this is by far my favorite! It is softer, easier to clean, and much easier to hide snacks and food in. My pups LOVE it!

I use this snuffle mat with 1C dry kibble, using my fingers to work it down into the base, and it takes my excitable doggo the better part of 15 minutes to nose out every last piece. This has slowed her eating down more than any of the slow-feeder bowls I've tried by three times (easily) and her huffing and working the mat is a lot of fun to watch for me too. I've found the suction cups don't work well on my hardwood floor but putting the snuffle mat on carpet keeps it in place, as well as her standing on it while she works. I do put it up on the counter when she's done so that she doesn't tear it apart like a toy. Will buy again when needed!

The back has anti slide grip material but it also comes with suction cups for added security.The edge has a lip that feels like small pool noodles. It keeps the food/treats in the snuffle area.The the snuffle bits (idk what else to call them) are soft but durable. They are similar to some bath rugs but they are longer which adds to the game.

I purchased this product in the hopes that it would engage a highly active 4 yr. old dog. Boy did it ever! Not only is he eager to root around in this mat, but he also has to use his sniffer to find the treats. It is a very helpful product for days that he needs to burn off some energy when he can't be taken to the park.

This is the best snuffle mat I have purchased. I like the shag on this. It's not cheap felt. My dog loves eating his meals from this. There is a removable foam ring around it that keeps it sturdy while in use but you can remove it to wash it. The suction cups are great BUT you have to have a smooth floor or they won't stick. Most floors are textured and they won't work on a textured floor.

My dog doesn't love this mat, only because he hates having to work for his food. It takes him about 10-15 minutes to sniff out all the pieces that I hide in the mat. Using his nose so much takes care of some of the excess energy he has.He's doesn't chew on things that aren't toys, so I am not concerned about him eating the mat and he is so gentle when eating that we haven't even needed the suction part, so I can't speak to it's durability there.

It's only been a few days, but nothing has torn yet. I feed about 1/8 of his daily food using this. Sometimes all at once, sometimes a few pieces several times. He will snuffle until he finds every one. You do need to help the food settle into the mat (otherwise they will stay up on top). I washed before using and it held up well. Very happy with this product and so is he.

This is a great snuffle mat. I sprinkle the dog food over it and then push the pieces down in. My dog is not a fast eater but gets bored easily. This is a fun way to feed him.

Puppy loves it but keeps biting the zipper and trying to get to foam part (the side) out. He successfully did it and destroy the zipper + foaming side within a week
