Bruno MarcMen's Crossflex Oxford Dress Sneakers Casual Leather Dress Shoes

The shoes are very comfortable, excellent quality, excellent fit, and genuine leather. Unusually buy more expensive shoes that cost over $200 but since I bought these shoes and felt the immediate comfort, I will continue to purchase these shoes. Plus the price is right! And the great need is that Amazon guarantees its products! I cannot say enough about the shoes and how comfortable they are and produced with quality. I am thinking on buying now 2 more pairs in different colors. It is a type of shoe that looks good in casual dress or business attire. Amazing! Mr. OP

True to size, light, and good for being on my feet all day. Leather is of good thickness, and holds up to some pretty regular scuffs and scrapes. Takes polish pretty well. With this color I recommend putting a tiny bit of Cordovan polish (think the metal nib of a ballpoint pen) in a pea-sized bit of brown and mixing it; it blends fairly well with the original.

I was excited to try these based on the good reviews. While they did look good, but they weren’t much better then cheap costume shoes. They are made from some type of weird vinyl or plastic that even squeaked when walking. I also found them to be slippery as it’s not a good outside sole. No where near as nice as an actual pair of leather casual/dress shoes, but for this price some can probably accept it. I could not and just prefer a better quality.If your not picky and don’t need them for a lot of use these may be fine, but if you want something to last a while look for a real brand.**edit on 12/28**The company read my review and reached out offering to send me a pair to try since I returned the original. I will admit after wearing them for a while I do like them a better. Are they as comfortable as a $200 pair of ECCO shoes, no. But for their price they look awesome and worth trying. I’ve had multiple comments on how cool they look. Their customer service is awesome so I’m improving my original 3 star review up to a 4.

First off, I really enjoy high-quality, goodyear welted shoes with nice full-grain leather. These shoes are none of those things. However, I was looking for a decent pair of work (office) shoes I could wear during the winter months, and not have to destroy my nicer shoes in the salt and snow. These shoes serve that purpose very well.When I first opened the box, I noticed that the shoes seem to be made quite well for inexpensive no-name shoes. The fit and finish is great, and is consistent on both shoes. There is no exposed glue, loose seams, etc... Even though the leather isn't full-grain, it's still genuine leather, and has a nice finish on it. When I first wore them, they were comfortable, albeit the leather in the heels was a bit stiff- and rubbed a little until it broke in. I never got a blister, and this process only took a few wears to soften the leather enough to alleviate the rubbing.I have recently compared these to similar style Nautica shoes, and found the craftsmanship on the Bruno Marcs to far exceed the Nautica's. I don't own the original Cole Haan's; but I have a couple buddies who do, and they thought I was wearing Cole Haan's. When I told them they were just cheap Amazon knock-offs, they were surprised, and wanted me to send them a link to them. IMO, the Cole Haan's are not a good deal at all. They are just as expensive as high-quality goodyear welted shoes; but they cannot be resoled like GYW shoes, and they won't last nearly as long. They are basically an athletic shoe with a mid-grade full-grain leather upper. There is no way they should ever cost more than $100, yet they do. That is why I feel the Bruno Marc's are a MUCH better buy. They look just as nice, and should last just as long as the Cole Haan's. These are probably the best $40 shoes I've purchased.

Best dress shoes ever purchased for comfort, probably more comfortable than sneakers.I have narrow feet, I did add tongue pad and heal pad, but these shoes are great. Can walk in for a long time. Have held up well after 6 mos. I'd buy again!

Update: 12/27/24:After I returned the shoes, their support contacted me and offered to send another pair for free. I decided to try the shoes again and I found it to be comfortable to wear whole day and looks good for office use. I am still not sure about the quality of the leather but this one had less chemical odor. I already have some discoloration after 1-2 wears but I don’t mind trying it for free. I am changing my rating from 1 to 3 for the great customer service from this company.——————Product description says it’s genuine leather but the shoes I got is made of synthetic leather and has a chemical odor. Fake description to deceive buyers. Returned it right away.

I like the comfort and fit. Nice leather. Although they are long enough, the shoelace tongues almost touch each other and I am afraid that if they stretch at all it may become a problem. Maybe I have narrow feet? Happy with the shoes otherwise.
