Mattress Cover Queen & Mattress Protector

I ordered 2 of this Mattress Guard 100% Waterproof Hypoallergenic Bed Bugs Proof Premium Mattress Protector on 21 May 2016 and received both of them on 23 May 2016. I initially bought them for not only using them as intended but also for one of the many moves that the military required. I figured that it would be a good investment for my mattresses and my pocket. I do apologize in advance as I did not take any pictures of the whole ordeal. I wish I did! Lesson learned.Both products were in one box and packed with care. It was easy to open the box that housed the mattress guards. Something I might add is that there was no plastic odor (or any odor at all) or smell to it like I thought there would be. Many times I have received and opened products that were in a zippered/plastic casing and it just reeked of plastic! So, major kudos for that!Taking the mattress guard out of the plastic casing it came in was fairly easy. Now, comes the part where you put the darned thing on. EVERYONE loves this part. Lol. Surprisingly, it was not that bad. I have two queen sized mattresses (guest room and master bedroom) that are both plush and memory foam types. I will say that it took a little bit of elbow grease to get it on all the way through because of the thickness of the mattress. Plus, I was switching sides back and forth to dress it smoother. I suggest enlisting a second persons help if you feel that you cannot get it done by yourself. Once you have the mattress all cozied up in the mattress guard, smooth sailings from there. The zipper was easy to locate and easy to zip up. The awesome Velcro part and plastic fastener to help guard the zipper was super helpful! I was able to sleep on it for one night, before the movers hauled away our household gods, and found that I was not too hot and not too cold. It may have just been one night, will update review, but boy was it worth it! I will be sure to update my review as soon as I get to my next location. It will be interesting to see how the mattress guard and my mattresses are. I will also update my review on washing it, when I get the chance.

This is sturdy with a good zipper velcro closure and has withstood 4 times (so far) of moving the mattress off and back on the box spring & bed frame. The material is the same on all 6 sides, not like some that have a different material on the top, but that may be why we haven't seen any bed bugs trying to hide in the seems. The first night we thought it felt hot, but now we don't notice that anymore; we have a quilted fairly thick mattress pad over it. We like that it can be machine washed in hot water to kill bed bugs (& tumble dry medium), which is clearly labeled on the package (much better labelling than some others). For our low profile box spring encasement we purchased a different encasement that fits 6 - 8 " depth, which is much better than having all that extra material esp. since we didn't want it to drag on the floor! Overall, I would recommend recommend this mattress encasement.

I searched on Amazon for a mattress cover that completely covered all sides of the mattress and had a locking and covered zippered. I purchased 2 of these covers for my home then reordered for our business that has a guest cabin. I could easily put on a queen size bed myself without help, but needed help for our kingsize at home. The fabric is great, and the quality is extremely good. My queen size mattress has a pillow top and this fit fine with extra room, although the extra room does not cause any issues with a mattress pad or sheets. It does not make a noise like plastic, it breaths so doesn't cause you to over heat/sweat. I am very happy with my purchase. I also purchased the pillow covers. I will be purchasing pillow covers and mattress covers for my other bedrooms at home. I shop amazon frequently and even though I may like a product I usually do not submit a review. This product is great and has a very reasonable price. I am extremely pleased!!!!

The protector went on the mattress with no problem. The zipper worked fine. I also put a mattress pad on over the protector. The protector makes no sound and I can't tell that it is there. (Might be because of the added pad.) The protector is slick so the mattress will move on the foundation quite easily. Not a problem for me (will make it easy for me to spin it 180 degrees every once in a while) but it might be a problem for someone else. Does the protector actually do what it's supposed to do? I have no way of knowing.

This product is perfect!!! With two 3 year old twin boys jumping all over the bed, many times with water or juice in hands. We were looking for something to protect our new mattress. The mattress store was going to charge us $150 for bed guard and we said no thanks!!! I figured I might find something a better price on Amazon and stumbled across this matters guard. First thing that pops out is its LIFETIME WARRANTY. So I clicked on the link. That next thing that helped persuade us was that it's 100% bed bug and weatherproof. this gives us peace of mind knowing we won't get bitten and if the boys were to spill water our mattress is safe. I also liked the fact that it's a zipper guard, that way it protects the entire mattress and not just the top. Well worth the price.

Just a quick update regarding my recent purchase of the mattress and pillow case covers.The delivery was surprisingly fast... I ordered in the evening and received the items the next morning approximately 14 hours later!I thought it might be difficult to put the mattress cover on by myself but it was a breeze.  The material reminded me of 1,000 thread Egyptian cotton and with hardly a tug slid easily over and under the mattress and pillows. The zipper worked well and I feel it provided an excellent seal especially with the Velcro tab at the end.  In general I was satisfied and impressed with the fit, quality and value.  I also plan to order 2 more set's for our other bedrooms. Great Product !!
