Dinner at the Panda Palace (Trophy Picture Book)

I first bought this book in the early 1990's, after reading a review by a dad that said, "I read this book to my two-year-old son every night, and when I finish he always says, 'read it again Daddy!'" As soon as it arrived in the mail, I totally understood why. It's completely charming and fun! I have given it as a gift DOZENS of times, and the parents always tell me that it turns out to be their child's absolute favorite book. True confessions: I even read it aloud to myself every now and then. OK, forget I said that. It's a counting book, but much more than that. The rhymes are fabulous, the rhythm wonderful, and cheerful, generous Mr. Panda should be everyone's hero. I now have three grandchildren and each family received a copy from me before their first child was born. Ruby, the eldest, now two and a half, loves it. You absolutely will not go wrong buying this book.

Bought this for nieces and nephews and can still recite the words. Best book ever!

I use to read Dinner at the Panda Palace to my children when they were young. It was their favorite bedtime story. Now I'm reading it to my 5 year old grandson. I introduced this cute story book to my grandson on YouTube and he loved it! I wanted the reading and illustration to him experience with the book rather than via video. I feel it offers a more memorable time if that makes sense? I think this children's story is a great addition to anyone's collection of children's books.

Read to my kids. Now reading to my grand daughter

I have been reading this book since my first born was in kindergarten. He is 33 now and reads it to his own kids. Great rhyming and counting story.

This was my two daughter’s favorite book when they were little. I had to read it over and over it was so memorable and special. Must buy.

Fun counting book... Upto 10...

Bought this after borrowing from the public library. It has been such a great book to use at my nursery school. We use it to develop counting (as all the animals arrive at the restaurant) and rhyming, but best of all for imagination involving restaurants, cafes, cooking, taking food orders, and encouraging children to talk about their own experiences of eating out.

This was my favourite book growing up, I can’t wait to read it to my daughter. The book I received is well made, great colour.
