Great product for a great price
Great product. And really easy to use. I just turn it on, set it to my desired humidity level, set the mist output to either low medium or high, and then set the timer and that’s it. The mist output control setting is really helpful because affects the amount of time that it takes to reach your desired humidity level for the room. If I have the humidifier in my bedroom which is v small, then I’ll just set it to low mist output so it can humidity my room without making my books posters and other fragile items damp. Or if I choose to put the humidifier in my living room, I can set the mist output to high and it’ll humidify the whole room within a short time and then auto shut off to prevent creating too much humidity!

Worked OK for 2 months, then quit
I ordered this humidifier to replace an old one that had died. In short:Pros:-It's quite easy to clean-It is quiet, so I could have it running in the background while I was on virtual meetings with no problemCons-STOPPED WORKING after 2 months. It leaks uncontrollably, leaving stains on whatever is underneath it. I am not overfilling it or doing anything differently than I have been doing. Today, it simply stopped producing mist at all.-The hygrometer was also sketchy. I'm really not sure it worked because my last (better) humidifier's readings were always quite a bit higher than those on this one. Even in a small room with the doors closed, it almost never reached 50% humidity, which I know from past use of other humidifiers was wrong. So take the humidistat with a grain of salt. Actually, just take a different unit altogether as this one is now headed to the trash pile.

Got a defective unit. Good concept, company, and price. Excellent customer service from Mooka.
Update 2: I was contacted by Mooka to go over my issues, and this is extremely rare with customer service. They were friendly, professional, and helpful. You can tell they care about their customers. Mooka gives excellent customer service, and I increased the star rating from 3 to 4 stars to reflect this.Update 1: I'm not sure if this is a defect, but my mist height is very small at 7". The mist output is very low, and it doesn’t circulate well. I've used it for a few weeks now. This means that the mist basically goes straight down to the ground or surface it's on. The fan doesn't seem to be doing anything. I had to put it on a chair, but even then it's not misting my room adequately. I'm going to do a return with Amazon and get a unit with a stronger mist stream (mist height), from a more well known company. I ended up switching to the TaoTronics “Top-Fill Ultrasonic Humidifier (Model: TT-AH046)”, as it has more bells and whistles and also looks more promising. The humidifier is not able to increase my apartment’s normal sized bedroom humidity above 33%, which is very disappointing. The company (Mooka) is very nice and responsive, and I think this product has a great design (possibly with quality control issues), which is why I left 3 stars. Another major problem I encountered was that it doesn’t seem to run continuously, which is shown by the unchanged water level for long periods of time. I tried setting it to the max setting of 90% RH, and it stays off for long periods of time (when my independent temperature/humidity gauge says it’s around 30% RH). This makes me think the Mooka humidifier’s hygrometer or other parts aren’t efficient or are defective. This is the biggest dealbreaker for me.Original Review: I got this humidifier because it has a built in hygrometer that adjusts the humidity level. That means, it won’t make my room swampy or require constant adjustments. So far so good, and I’ll update this review if anything dramatic changes.

Checks all the boxes for me
Update (Nov 14, 2020):I got the unit replaced and the replacement works very well. So looks like i was just unlucky to get a defective product last time. Things I like about it are1) Top loading2) Compact (for mid size bedroom)3) Quiet4) Humidity monitoring5) Comes with basic plug and not a big power adapter that is hard to hide.6) Very responsive customer service.-----------------------Old review:Didn't work for me:Unboxed the product and filled the top can with water and turned it on and in time it started leaking. Then upon inspecting figured that there is some packing material inside the unit. Removed it and started it again, and it never works.

So good we came back and bought another!
We received our first Mooka humidifier on Nov 22 2020. We have electric heat in our apartment so it dries the air out considerably. In addition my sinuses hate dry air. We can set the desired humidity and Mooka does the rest, turning on and off as needed. Unlike other humidifiers it truly is whisper quiet. You can't hear it until you get close enough to feel the mist on your face. The lights turn completely off which is another reason it's great for a bedroom. The large capacity means we don't have to fill it multiple times a day. We only use distilled water in our humidifiers but Mooka is the only one that doesn't get that mildew smell over time. Cleaning is a breeze with a nice wide opening at the top and a detachable base . We love that it is a top fill so when it's low we can add more water with no fuss. We just bought another Mooka for our second bedroom to replace an old humidifier we had in there. We love our Mookas!
