The plot line kept my interest. The story was heart warming and pulled you into the child's life. Extremely powerful story of a 9 year old young girls' journey through her mother's diagnosis of breast cancer and how she felt and dealt with it through her eyes. I would highly recommend this book to children of family members that are going through difficult circumstances that are no one's fault and others who have felt that they were alone in this battle. The ending gave a special twist which brought you to a personal magnetism leaving you with a peaceful comfort.

Based on an actual real life experience, nine-year old author "Savvie" captures the essence of emotions shared between her and her family as her loving mother battles cancer. Savvie's genuine feelings and the book's illustrations result in an emotionally touching and optimistic read for children and adults!

This book is so well written and age appropriate. Wished it was available a couple of years ago when my granddaughter was going through the exact same emotions. If you are looking for something to assist in explaining the big “C” word to iur little ones, look no further.

I must say, it was an impressive writing. I can imagine reading it to my 7 year old grandson, which was one of the reasons for my purchase.

This book is one of a kind! It's an amazing story from a kids perspective when a parent has a cancer diagnosis. It does a great job explaining things so a child can understand starting with the diagnosis, through the treatment and even side effects. The 10 things to tell other kids going through this is a perfect way to end an amazing book! I am so glad that we were able to use this book and an amazing story for all kids.
