I am obsessed with sun protection in extremely meticulous ways. I’m always that person wearing extreme SPF, even on cloudy days. When I discovered that there are umbrellas with UV protection, I knew I had to try one. This umbrella is phenomenal, and I use it year-round, even on the sunniest days, to protect myself from UV rays while walking around town. Pros: Sturdy and Compact: This umbrella is as compact as a standard portable umbrella but far more sturdy. It’s easy to carry around, fitting perfectly in my man bag or chest sling. Excellent UV Protection: The umbrella’s surface is extremely reflective, effectively blocking all UV rays when you’re underneath it. This feature is perfect for my usage, providing peace of mind during sunny days. Convenient Travel Case: The best part of this umbrella is the travel case. Unlike most umbrellas with frustrating sleeves, this one has a quarter-zip mechanism. It makes it extremely easy to unzip the cover, slip the umbrella in, and zip it up. This convenience takes the umbrella to the next level. Cons: Weight: If I had to point out a minor criticism, it would be that the umbrella could be slightly lighter. However, this is not a significant issue and doesn’t detract from its overall functionality. In summary, I can’t think of anything negative to say about this umbrella. It’s a fantastic product, perfect for anyone obsessed with sun protection like me. Highly recommended!

Lovely Umbrella. Used it in India. It was excellent protection from the midday sun and perfect in the rain. I had a lot of admirers of my umbrella. The opening and closing mechanism seems robust and was used a lot. I would recommend this umbrella

Highly recommend. I did umrah in the middle of the day in summer 43degrees! This product was excellent! I cant express enough. I had a cross body bag which it fitted in easily. I got back to the UK and had for the rainy days here too! It’s lightweight, it was sturdy in the winds, it looks so nice, easy to put up and fold down it has a cover, but i use a shoe bag to put it in when it was wet. Buy this!

Not ce smooth opening. I bought it for my husband to protect him from the sun on a marshalling gig. It rained so it was useful to protect him from the sun and the rain 🤣. It was easy to fold back up and stored away easily on his motorbike top box. Reasonable quality and nice and lightweight.

I used this at the Paris Olympics where my friends envied me -- it provided shade on a scorching hot day. I bought it because it was extremely compact and light enough to drag it around while I move around the city. It provides UVF protection AND protects against the rain AND the white colour means it was complimentary with every outfit that I was wearing. Plan to buy this as a gift for friends who travel.

Brilliant, small and compact. Used for light showers also, very sturdy.

I have been using this parasol umbrella since August 2023. It has generally served me well, but has now broken less than a year on. It is advertised as being windproof and it is stated in the product description that it will not turn inside out in the wind. In my experience, this is not accurate. On gusty days, it is liable to turning inside out repeatedly and I think this is what has led to it finally breaking (one of the spokes has collapsed/snapped). The elastic hanging loop has also stretched out and is close to breaking also. This is a shame, as it is otherwise a good quality item. I have used it most days as a parasol to help protect myself from photoageing whilst walking my dog. It also works well as an umbrella in rainy conditions. I have generally been happy with it. It is light and convenient to carry on your wrist via the hanging loop, or in a small backpack when not in use. It has helped keep the beating UV rays off on hot days. Unfortunately the UK can be quite windy even during summer heatwaves and this umbrella is not suited to windy conditions (I have not used it in severe wind of course, as I wouldn't expect any umbrella to survive that). I'm not hugely fond of the automatic opening mechanism. It works fine upon opening, but takes quite a bit of strength to close again. I had worried that if the opening mechanism ever failed, that the umbrella would become unusable as it cannot be opened manually like a standard umbrella. However, the wind has killed it before that can happen!
