After 26 years my previous personal CD player was on the blink. When looking around I realised that the big name manufacturers are no longer making them which was a surprise. After some hmming and ahhing I decided to go for the Klim. This was partly because of the look of it, the specs and the 5 year warranty. The CD player has non slip feet on the bottom, so it stays put on things like desks. It comes with a case to store and protect it, not a plastic bag. The battery pack is internal and I've yet to run out. It can charge while playing, via a c-cable/USB so can be plugged in pretty much anywhere. It can play MP3 discs as well as red book CDs - and also has an SD card slot for MP3. I don't play MP3, but it's a nice touch to add Technology has definitely advanced since I bought my last one - the sound quality is a lot better and I am hearing new details in the music, which is always great. The amplifier is better and drives my Beyerdynamic DT990 (250 ohm)headphones with ease, around about 10 rather than up full for my previous player. The instruction manual could be clearer on how to access the SD card, but Klim were very responsive by email and quickly let me know. I think the CD player could be further developed and would benefit from a digital out via the C-cable so that external DAC could be used. Very happy with my purchase.

KLIM portable CD player....fantastic sound.!!!!..... it arrived early come in a rectangle black box inside you have the CD player, the earphones that are excellent quality, and 2 charger cables I chose black. CD has a very impressive sound very very good. Features - : earphones fit wonderfully you get extra ear moulds in a small bag,a black CD case and some instructions that come in a black envelope. When in use the button light up blue...highly recommend this player can be bought in black or white value for money

The reason for my buying this was my old hifi broke and I couldn't get the new hifi l wanted this year being what it is, so got this to fill in for now later using it while out etc. Its not the cheapest or the most expensive, but I have used this for 2 weeks now when ever I want music cds in music on anywhere no more waiting so I don't disturb anyone l have gone to bed to read and listen totally fantastic l love this cd player very small flying saucer l normally dislike in ear things but these go very well together both are good quality the sound is really good l have used my over ear headphones l prefer the ones supplied go better overall and lite have only charged it once so far that's maybe 10 to 15 hours so far queen sounds great l just switch it on and play no fiddling depending what you want but l am seriously thinking of not having a super dupper expensive hifi this is a good sound and more convenient for me l hear music when and where I want with out disturbing the wife etc so far it's very good think about what you want this player has to be the best for the money no AA batteries like the old days so far no jumping but lm no jogger? Only 4 stars because only time will tell time can give the rest so far totally love it super impressive the case is good it holds every thing but would be perfect if it had a belt strap or straps. I have an iPhone and have music connected to my phone..there are just sometimes I needed to use a discman for some music I’ve kept over the years. I looked for cost and value for money. There is also a quality factor that needs to be looked into. I spent a lot of time looking for something that’s covers all three. This is very good quality, good value for money, and it fits in my jacket pocket. I bought this mainly for audio books. The ones that are cheap from a charity shop. So this became the ideal item at a good pruce with a great sound quality.

Although I was unfortunate to initially receive a Discman with a damaged/missing laser lens - Klim Technologies were very responsive to my request for help. Special thanks to Samuele for replying to my emails and arranging for a brand new replacement to be sent very quickly after I got in touch! I am very pleased with the working replacement as outlined below: Pros: Sturdy build, attractive design, nicely packaged, excellent sound quality and easy to use. Built-in rechargeable battery seems to last well and obviously no need for AA batteries. A handy instruction booklet is included but it's already intuitive to use. Decent accessories included too: Klim brand in-earphones (but you can use any with a 3.5mm jack), an attractive pouch for the player, Klim stickers, ear bud replacements, auxiliary 3.5mm cable, USB-C to USB-B cable for charging (though you'll need a UK 3-pin adaptor for wall charging). Programmable modes and an equalizer (e.g. rock, pop etc). You can also play CD-Rs and MP3 CDs too. Cons: Very little to fault. A very small thing is that there's quite a big shift in volume between 'Vol 00' (i.e. minimum), which is barely audible, and 'Vol 01', which is much louder than the lowest setting. But a minor thing. Overall - highly recommend both the Discman and Klim Technologies for their great customer service.

Easy to use and plays cd very well. Headphones excellent and easy to charge up as no batteries needed.

Good sound quality. Seems sturdy. I particularly like that it has a five year warranty (my last two CD players - other makes - both stopped working after about two years). Seems good value.

Best investment I made in a long time. The best audiobook player on the market.

I was looking for replacement of my old Sony Discern, when I. decided for Klim Discman. To my surprise the product quality is very good, worked like a charm. The parametric equaliser is very good when connected to studio speakers, giving clean balanced output. Ofcourse headphones leave a room for improvement. Excellent product in the price range.

Very poor quality made in china cd player, I was hoodwinked by the reviews. Unfortunately the player was unable to charge its built in battery. The battery indicator is not shown at all as well. I discarded the packaging pre maturely thinking the brand is reliable, hence doubt I can get a refund. I am very disappointed with KLIM. A waste of money. 😡

The earphones that it comes with are not the best. The CD player is very nice for the price. Sound quality is really good. It's crisp and clear and there a lot of functions included. It's not heavy, and it comes with a pretty sturdy black case, which kinda leaves little fibers but this isn't a problem. CD player doesn't charge with apple cords, you need to charge it with the cord it comes with. I would really recommend. I only bought this for my CD players so I don't mind that there are no bluetooth connectivity options and I don't use the AUX.
