I'm a T. Rex! (Little Golden Book) Hardcover – Picture Book, May 11, 2010

I'm a T-Rex is currently one of my Munchkin's favorite books.There's no real plot. It's simply a T-Rex explaining what he is - a big, ferocious, fighting, yet loveable T-Rex. The story has enough rhythm to make it fun to read and, when read aloud, my daughter and I have fun yelling the line "I'm a T-rex".In addition to having some very cute pictures, the book gives actual information about the T-Rex, including where he gets his name, how and when he lived, and some of the other dinosaurs that lived back then.My daughter is a beginning reader and loves reading this aloud to other people. And enjoys the look on their faces when she reads words like Cretaceous.This book is a winner!

My son loves to read I like the little Golden Books. On one of the books I read to him he always turns it over afterwards to look at the books on the back and this time he picked this book. I said if your good maybe Santa will bring it, he's 3 and it was last minute so thankful it got here in time. I read the book it's cute, it talks about T-Rex, and the dinosaur he is,lol. I read other comments. It's a kid book, to laugh with and love. It's a cute book,

We found this when our little girl (18 mo) started learning about dinosaurs at daycare. She loves it! There's enough repetition and rhyming and roaring to keep her attention and to make it fun to read out loud. I also appreciate that, as another review noted, it's "mildly educational" and not just pure fluff. Although it took my husband and me a few readings to realize the true irony of the book -- this ferocious T Rex is actually just a little guy -- that just makes it even more fun.

Some words were hard for even me to pronounce 😆 The dinosaur names are not the ones we were taught in school lol

My kids have recently gotten into the The Golden Books and I'm slowly trying to add to the collection. Not only are these books nostalgic for me, but, also they are the perfect length and size to read bedtime stories with, take to places where I know we'll have to wait (i.e. restaurants), traveling, etc...This in particular was a special request from my dinosaur loving son. It's a sweet little book with lots of potential for funny voices to read with.

My 3yr old finds this book amazing! He cant wait to read it.
