Garden Odyssey 10-Inch Glass Gazing Globe, Purple

Amazon gave confirmation of order and claimed it would be delivered by no later than Friday at 8PM. Friday at 7:30PM, the Order still claims an 8PM delivery, I'm skeptical. I contact Amazon Customer Service. First guy is CLUELESS, after quite a while, he tells me package is still 2000 miles away from me. As this is a Birthday gift for my Girlfriend of 20+ years, I am now LIVID. His solution is to offer a refund and have me refuse the package. I ask him if I am supposed to wrap up an apology from Amazon and their lame excuses and give that to my girlfriend as her gift instead of what I ordered her and was promised would arrive on time. I escalated to his supervisor who joined in with the first guy, aiming the "Blamethrower" at Fed-Ex. They never did give me a reason that for 5 days, Amazon's site still showed it would be delivered by Friday at 8PM. Even after the item did not deliver on Friday, the rest of the weekend Amazon's site tracking showed the delivery scheduled for Friday by 8PM.This is after I had told Amazon that info was in error, and they told me it would not indeed arrive Friday by 8PM :|I finally received the item this afternoon of May 13th( Monday of the next week), 6 days after it was ordered. I am really wondering why I spent the 80 bucks on Amazon Prime. This is the 3rd such incident since January. Amazon Customer Service told me this was an "Isolated Incident". I informed the supervisor that after the 3rd time, these incidents dont seem very "Isolated".Negative 5 Stars for Amazon, Epic Fail in the keeping their word department. Classic Bait-and Switch. Shameful :(

We had a blue mirror finish gazing ball for about twenty years. It was blemish free and brought us many years of enjoyment in our flower garden. When it got broke we felt the loss and we went in search of a replacement. This Garden Odyssey blue gazing ball looked just like our old gazing ball when we saw the picture and the price was very reasonable so we ordered it. Our last gazing ball was blemish free but this new gazing ball is covered with imperfections in the glass. At first we were disappointed but since the price was so low we put it on the stand anyway.After standing back and looking at our new Blue Gazing Ball we realized that the imperfections were hardly visible from 10 foot away. Our benches are more like fifteen to twenty feet away. This Blue Gazing Ball is not be blemish free and does not have the aura of perfection that our last Blue Gazing Ball had but this Gazing Ball looks very nice and the imperfections that are visible from a distance just seem to give this Blue Gazing ball a little more character.At first we only kept this ball because of the low price and just accepted the imperfections as something that we had to settle for or be prepared to pay far more than this ball cost. After sitting on it's stand for well over a week this Blue Gazing Ball has grown on us. Now we are seriously thinking about buying a couple more Garden Odyssey Gazing Balls just so we can switch colors occasionally. We are not quite prepared to take that step but I highly suspect we will be placing another order within a few days.Bottom line, if you are looking for perfection look elsewhere but if you don't mind just getting a suitable product at a very reasonable price you too may be satisfied with this gazing ball by Garden Odyssey.

I purchased the gold globe.It is a very nice looking globe and the gold looks just like the picture shown.I purchased  Garden Odyssey 12-1/2-Inch by 12-1/2-Inch by 20-Inch Curl Gazing Globe Stand  to use as the stand for this globe.The two are a perfect fit.The price is great and looks like it would cost more.Great addition to the yard!Will probably end up purchasing other colors as well!* * *I also wanted to add.... I ordered the two together and they were shipped together in the same shipping box.. the globe is in a partially opened box to show the globe... the stand is not in its own box.... and the stand ended up breaking the globe during the shipping because there wasnt any protection.BUT... I did talk to Amazon and they reshipped the globe and it actually arrived with extra packaging... and bubble wrap and arrived perfect! Just wanted to note the shipping/packaging, it did not in any way have anything to do with how I rated the globe!* * *

I am totally, totally pleased with this gazing ball! And even more pleased with the low price. I actually got 2 - this red one and a blue one. Both are glass and are very beautiful and so much LESS than if I'd bought them at a local garden center. My sister gave me a red one years ago because we used to pass a country house that had one when we were girls in the car with our parents on a Sunday trip to see Grandma and Grandpa at the farm where our mom grew up. So much good nostalgia. I had my red one that my sister surprised me with for my birthday oh-so-many years ago until this spring when we had a storm with very high winds and it got blown off its pedestal and broke into a hundred or more pieces on the rocks. So finding this exact replacement at such an incredible price was awesome! And the way both of the gazing balls were packed was exceptional.

I ordered a Garden Odyssey Glass Gazing Ball blue and white swirlwe revived it today and it is much prettier then we even though it wouldbe, I had wrote a negative review before and at the time I was mad becauseI though I would have received it much sooner then I did, It was late becauseof a address they couldn't understand how I could have 2 address for my deliverybut I do, Any ways I'm sorry it was unfair of me to rate them low their product is verygood and I hope the next time I order something all will go well.
