It seems to work very well at protecting my hair. but you have to be very careful that you don't use to much. It can be very oily. Alittle goes a long way.

After using this product, I would call it a smoothing serum. The texture is greasy and light without being heavy or sticky. In addition to being good for smoothing and heat protection, it also makes an excellent detangler.A little goes a long way. With my fine hair, a pea-sized dab is enough to smooth the ends and tamp down flyaways. My daughter with straight hair uses it as a detangler and my daughter with curly hair uses it to tame frizz.ORS smells fantastic. Nothing too strong, but a pleasant, clean, natural scent.
