So far so good. I would like to have waited a longer time before being asked to review the product though. I had been using Digestive Advantage Lactose Defense Formula, but it apparently is no longer available. The Shield formula seems to have the same amount of lactose enzyme in it and the cost is much less. I want to be able to take one daily pill and not worry about taking pills every time I eat dairy. If this continues to do the job, I will continue to give it five stars.

Daily lactose medication that includes the B30 bacteria works for me. I used to use lactose defense, from Digestive Advantage. My local Walmart stopped carrying it, and the prices for that medication at other stores or online was more than I wish to pay. I decided to give this medication a try, based on containing the same ingredients and amounts, and additional Andrea's. Also a large Factor was the 80 pills for less than what I used to pay of 32 pills.This medication works for me. When I take it regularly I do not have bad bathroom visits. I can enjoy post any of my Foods regularly. I am confident in the product working for me. And it is a fantastic value and that's almost as important.Chew very mild concerns. The pills are difficult to get out of the bottle swiftly. And being a black pill, I wonder if the food coloring changes the color of my waste. Add some food coloring is known to change it green. And I think I may have experienced that. But those two factors are not enough to remove a star. It is a good product.

This product is amazing! I used Lactaid Brand for years thinking it was the only product out there of its kind then after the continued rising cost of it, I decided to look into alternatives. I tried a couple before discovering Lactose Shield. This works just as well if not better than the original name brand and is much more affordable. You really only have to take this product once a day regardless of how many times throughout the day you ingest dairy products. It's a no-brainer folks!

I did my research before buying these pills. I made the right choice. The directions say to take one a day or more if needed, but I just always take 2 before I plan to have dairy. I took 2 and had 2 full glasses of chocolate milk; no pain, no gas, no cramps, no bloating. Took 2 pills and then had 6 slices of pizza (this would have left me in tears praying the pain away before); no pain, no gas, no cramps, no bloating. I am recommending these to ALL of my lactose intolerant friends, and anyone who has stomach issues but hasn't been able to pinpoint the source. I will be ordering these for the rest of my life. They have truly changed the way I eat for the better.

I've been dealing with lactose intolerance for some time now. Was taking lactaid and the generic version but still had some major issues. Found this on Amazon and decided to give it a try. It is the best stuff I've ever used. I take 2 capsules every night whether I eat dairy or not and I have yet to have any issues. I'm shocked that it has worked so well. I could be happier. I ordered 2 more bottles. I hope they never stop making this stuff. It's great.

worked fine then got sickthe extra ingredient compared to digestive advantage might have done something to meworked just fine at first, then after a week of everyday use i noticed a foul smell in my farts 8)kept taking it then got really bad diarrheastopped taking themi cant eat spicy food, it says it has black pepper extract. dont know if that did something to meloved them at first before i got sickpills are much bigger than digestive advantage

I have a mild lactose intolerance that developed later in life. I basically cannot drink a full glass of milk without suffering issues. Pizza and such are ok. This product works great for me so far, only need to take one in the morning and good for the whole day. Plus I think it is also helping with general digestion too.I will definitely buy this brand again.

I read the reviews here on Amazon and gave it a try after using either lactaid or the Kirkland brand of pills for lactose-challenged people. My son has autism and lactose intolerance seems to have hit him especially hard. These are great for both kids and me. Definitely a better help than the other pills. Less bloating and almost no gas from my son. (Which is a really common trait for kids on the spectrum.)
