Esstac1+2 KYWI Pouch

Put this on one of my belts and it’s such a nice little attachment, esstac makes some extremely durable pieces of kit, I did have to get some external clips for attachment but I have no doubts that this will probably outlive me.

Very well made and meets my needs to a T.They have many options to chose from.While they cost a little more than others, they appear to worth the extra costs.I’d buy again.

My new favorite mag pouches. I’ve ran HSGI for years, as well as a few G-code, and these Esstac are way better. Aesthetically; not a beauty contest. Function, ease to draw a mag, re-insert a mag, retention, ease to attach to carrier or war belt.... all superior.

Easily one of the best mag pouches ive used. They are durable and can take the real steel wear and tear, all while bouncing back and being able to grip like they are new.

I've been using the Esstac 1+2 KYWI Pouch and overall, I'm really happy with it. However, there's a small caveat. I left a magazine in the pouch and my whole battle belt in my car during a hot summer day, and the pouch became noticeably loose. It's not a deal-breaker as you can fix it with a heat gun, but it's something to be aware of. It was partly my fault for leaving it in the heat, but just a heads-up for others. Other than that, it's a solid pouch, holds up well in most situations, and is pretty handy for quick access. Still a good buy, just keep it out of hot Alabama cars!

Bought these after trying out and returning a cheaper version of the ITW Fastmag holders, which didn't retain the mags at all when upended (note they were not real Fastmags). These Esstac's are of course perfect, easy to insert and withdraw your mags. My only wish is for one that has 2 AR mags & 2 pistol mags, but maybe that would get a little heavy all on one side of your belt. I mounted them to a Tacticon belt, which is probably the best cheap battle belt (and I mean cheap, it was $25). Love these!

It was really hard to add to my belt. I used malice clips and those things are no joke. After it was all done it's not going anywhere. I love the retention.

If you plan on wearing this directly to a belt like a Ronin Belt, then it’ll be fine.If you plan on running it on a battle belt or one that runs over the pants, then I suggest getting the gap version to allow the mag pouch to flex more.Otherwise, great product! I’ll probably get the gap version to allow the pouch to bend to my waist better.
