NovaMedical Products Star 8 Rollator Walker with Perfect Fit Size System, Lightweight & Foldable, Easy to Lift & Carry, Great for Travel, Color Blue

My wife has MS and been using a rollator the past 15 years. Since they wear out every few years, this was a replacement. We wanted one with the ability to lower the seat height and Star 8 has this feature. It was easy to assemble. I noticed my wife was not having any good things to say about it after a couple days, so I took hit for a test drive. The rollator works well on the hardwood and tile surfaces. As soon as you move to the carpet it's twice as hard to move and turn the rollator which is not good for a person with MS. The wheels are made of a different rubber compound than any of our past rollators. The rubber is a bit softer and gummy compared to other rollators. I got our old model and tried the same test run. It moves far easier on flat and carpeted surfaces. The best way for me to describe how this rollator moves on carpet is this. We have all gone to the grocery and got a grocery cart that is hard to push and difficult to steer. That's the feeling one gets with operating the Star 8 on carpet. With a new set of harder compound wheels this rollator would probably be a good value. I'm sure there will be other buyers that find this wheel design flaw a deal breaker.

This thing is like having a Cadillac! It rolls so smoothly (8 inch wheels) and turns on a dime. Even though it is made of aluminum the shape of the tubes (oval rather than round) make it rival the steel ones and it is not as heavy. The way it closes up is so easy-lift the seat and pull up on the bar and there you have it. Then there is a pin that goes in place to make it stay locked. The diamond sky blue is actually aqua and it is lovely. There are manly colors available also. This walker will go places that my regular walker would not without lifting and turning it. I did not want to spend this much money but am so happy I did. You should watch the video on this product. Oh, and my husband said putting it together was so easy! The use of the seat has already been very convenient. The only thing I can’t address is how it stands up over time but I can’t imagine there will be any problem with that and it does have a limited lifetime warranty. ONE MORE THING....the booklets on this walker are in a pocket found on the underneath side of the seat. So lift up the seat and look in its pocket. If you have trouble with assembly watch the assembly video on the NOVA website. I am 5’2” and this walker has height adjustments for the seat and the handles and it is perfect. Yes I love it and you will too!!

I was leery when the product stated it needed to be assembled - I'm not very mechanical. It was really easy - the rollator came in several big pieces that you simply snapped together - no big deal - if I can do it - anyone can do it. Also this is the 2nd Nova 8 I've purchased - this one is for going outside and the first one will remain inside the house, so dirt from outside doesn't come onto my floors. The Nova 8 is easy to propel and the seat is sturdy - it is exactly what we needed. Just to let you know - my house has an open floor plan - it goes everywhere except it is too wide to fit into the bathroom (which I knew when I purchased). Our house was designed with really skinny bathroom doors - that is the only downfall I see, but I would sacrifice that for the comfort and ease this rollator provides.

A very positive review for the NOVA Star 8 Petite Rollator WalkerWhen this rollator arrived it had two issues, a torn seat and one of the clips that holds the locking pin was broken in shipping. When I called I was assured that the parts would be replaced ASAP, but that the seat would take a while due to the current supply issues. The plastic clip for the locking pin arrived a few days later, as promised, it took awhile for th seat to arrive, just about 3 months but it too arrived yesterday.The rollator itself is well made, easy to use & folded up easily to fit into the trunk of our car. All of the promises made were fulfilled. Can't ask for much more than that. My wife was only 4' 8" and this small rollator was just what she needed to get around more easily. Five stars for promises kept & for a great product.

Are we just supposed to guess on how to put this together. Absolutely no instructions were included in this box.

Walker came defective and I see see no way to get ahold of the manufacture. This is so disappointing my mom so desperately needs a walker. Please contact me me ASAP to discuss a replacement seat. There isn’t even enough material on the seat to sew it back together. I am so very disappointed as I just referred the nursing home to purchase more for the other residents.

I JUST LIKE IT AND SO DOES THE FELLOW THAT USES ITHANDY LIFT HANDLE AND LOCK IN PLACE MAKES IT EASY TO TAKE AND GOLARGER SEAT FOR A GENTLEMAN.AND IT IS VERY PRETTY RED.LOVE IT
