Better than I expected
Better than I expected. I ordered with full expectation that I wouldn't like them, and return them. However, they are AMAZINGLY comfortable. Elsewhere reviews stated they run small. However, they run true. All my pants are 34's and I ordered the 36 (too big). I'm 6' even and 180lbs. Returning for 34 and definitely keeping! High quality packaging and shipping. Quality product is more comfortable than my own jeans. They are not designer styled, more straight cut. However, for seamless jeans with Kevlar, I can't rave about them enough. My regular jeans weight 1lb 7oz, and these weight approximately 2lb even. Not much for the extra protection. Of course wiht pads in they'd be heavier. I very likely won't wear the pads, but will try them (not included). They feel/look "normal" as is. And better than just regular jeans in a spill. A bit pricey, but worth it. Would love a good price drop so I could buy more than one. What's a little odd, but I don't think an issue is. They are VERY long (at the 36 waist sized ones are, yet on the bike, just right, borderline a little short. But what's odd is my regular jeans with a modest over hang of hem, are just right on the bike and off the bike. These are maybe 3" or 4" longer than I'd normally wear. Anyway, great jeans, and a keeper.

Great riding pant! Highly recommend, but size up by one size.
Great pants for riding! Like the overall fit and comfort. Seems very close to denim look and not too heavy of a pant. Haven't tried with armor yet but there seems to be plenty of room without being too baggy. Only complaint is that they are sized a bit small. I wear 34' W 32" L in Levi brand (I am 6' 0" 195 lbs) and I couldn't even button these in 34" W size. I sent back and got same pair in 36" and they fit a little snug in waist, but still comfortable. With the larger waist you get a longer pant so these are 36" W 34"L which are a bit long for me. However, they are great for riding position and with one turn of the cuff the reflector is exposed which is a great feature. Like these pants very much!! Would recommend, but size up by one size!

Pad Placement is Bad
These jeans really are pretty comfortable. The Cordura is much softer than I would've thought it could be considering its strength. The Kevlar liner is also not bad. I would say they also run small. I wear a 32" waist and ended up needing to get the 34" in these.HOWEVERLike many others are saying, the placement of pad holders really suck. The hip pad pockets actually sit around my upper thigh, and the "knee" pocket might as well really be called shin guards. See attached photo. It half defeats the purpose of these jeans. I guess wearing these will likely keep all my skin attached so it can hold all the fragments of my shattered kneecaps if I wipe out and slide down the highway...🙄

Some men are longer than others...
Well this was disappointing as the knee guards ended up more like shin guards. I think the protection might be great if you're 6 ft or somewhere close to that... 5 ft 8 is not what they had in mind for these jeans. The quality of material is there and I wanted to like them but they are tailored for a man of different proportions.

The armor is cumbersome to wear, and sometimes I just don't want to deal with it and take them out. Tonight I had the armor in and got into a wreck where I landed on my side while still on the bike. The hip armor - not to mention the fabric material - saved my ass.

Very Baggy - Knee Pads still way off
As with many others I looked through the reviews and noticed many who loved these pants, and many others who said they were baggy and the knees pad pockets were at their shins. I saw updates of velcro added to the knee pad pocket to allow for adjustment. I figured I would give them a go. I prefer relaxed fit jeans, so hey, maybe all those who said they were too baggy wear really tight jeans, and the velcro would allow for adjustment so all the problems would be solved.....well, I was wrong. The pants I received had all the labels/tags that are normally affixed to the jeans in the pocket. So obviously I received a returned pair. No worries, as long as they fit, right? My first pic is in a pair of Levi's to give some sort of comparison. The waist was true to the size I ordered, and yes, I was aware that length would be too long. Yet, not only was the length too long (as expected) but the jeans were like wearing parachute pants! Plenty of room for someone else to fit in there with me.The knee pad pockets did have the new velcro adjustments. However, the knee pads that are suggested on many sites do not have velcro on them to affix to the pockets. So, the velcro now does me no good. The pads fit well below my knee - at least about 4" as others have said as well. I am 5'7", and with the bagginess of the jeans and the pads being almost to my ankles, I could not imagine riding with those things flapping in the wind. I could probably tuck the knee pads into my boots if I desired. The hip pad pockets are a little low in my opinion as well, but that is debatable since to get them higher, the jeans would need to fit higher in the waist as well.I have included a pic of both hip and knee pads that I purchased. I'll keep them to see if they will fit into the next jeans I try, but these jeans will definitely have to go back.
