It scrubs safely
A few years ago I was using a grill cleaner that was made of wires. The reviews said that the wires come off and stay on the grill and get on the food. Soon after that it happened to me. I threw out that wire brush and replaced it with a brush like this one. Now it was time to get a new one. The handle is big so I can fit four fingers in it and get good leverage to scrub the grill clean. It works great.

Get your grill clean; use one of these on a COLD grill
This is a well-made, simple grill grate scrubber. The block/handle is made of a very dense, solid plastic, and the handle loop is large enough for my medium-size hands. The scrubber is made of tightly woven fibers, probably nylon or similar, and is effective in removing crust and grime from the stainless steel grates of my Weber grill.Note well: this should NOT be used on a hot grill! I found that out the hard way (I always run the grill at full tilt for 20 minutes or so after cooking to ashefy the gritty remains). Just touching a hot surface will melt the scrubber fibers, and you'll enjoy the aroma the next time you cook. That's not the distributor's fault. The grate cleaner works as designed, and a 2-pack gives you a spare.

These do not last a long time, but the work well
These wear out quickly, but they are very effective while they last. We like that they do not leave little metal pieces on the grill, waiting to mix in with your food. Used in addition to a pumice stone, this can be a good tool to clean your grill.

No metal prongs
These clean your grill so nicely, I don’t like the brushes to have the metal prongs on them because they can get in your food

Not bad, but not impressed
These are better than the wire brush since ingesting a piece of plastic isn't nearly as bad as steel. However, they do tend to "shed" a bit with use. Note, these are only to be used on a "cool" grill though. I prefer to let most of the grease and such burn off then scrub the residue off the grill plates. This isn't the right product for that.I've heard you can run them through the dishwasher to clean some of the "gunk" out of the mesh but I haven't tried it yet. I have a feeling all the fat and meat particles might not come out of the mesh very easily but that's an unknown.Overall...I'll use these until they wear out then go with maybe some kind of stainless steel scrubber (but without bristles) next time. For the price they work OK.

Does the job it was made for and does it well. easy to use. Good tool at a very fair price.

No more metal bristles in your food!
It works very well in combination with a metal scraper, I scrape off the thick pieces with the scraper then clean everything else off with this brush. I’m happy with it but it starts to fall apart kinda quick, definitely better than metal bristles in your food!

Use on cool grill.
Good quality. Use on cooled grills. Not for hot grills. A little elbow grease required but did the job.

Good, but doesn't last
Good for cleaning. It loses parts with one major clean. I didn't have trouble with the supports.
