Fin Fin Friends Caribbean Castle Interactive Aquarium with Princess Parrot Fish

My daughter LOVES this gift. The little fish does sort of interact with the child and though it calls for water, you can get away with it not having any water in a pinch.

The wrong item was sent. Ordered Caribbean Castle and received the Shark. Not what my granddaughter asked for. Very disappointed.

If my daughter were writing this review, she'd give it five stars. It's cute, Fin Fin responds, you can put water in it and its bright and cheerful. This is a really loud toy and it doesn't have a volume knob. It's also poorly made,the slide shown in the picture falls off all of the time and she has learned to play without it. When this toy breaks, we won't buy a second one.

I think this is a GREAT toy for kids between 3 + maybe 8 or 9 , i think it's pretty cute and fun , she got it for Christmas because she had been begging for a fish , and to get a real fish in a bowl (if you don't get a aquarium with the bubblier and gravel ect you have to change the water all the time and my worry is my poor kid waking up to a dead fish , so i saw this on clearance for 5$ at Toys R Us , and thought for 5$ what the heck why not ... I'm SO glad i did it , we needed batteries so we had some on hand but i lost them Christmas eve but found them today (the 26th) so we put batteries in , the little bit of water they recommend and turned it on , it chatted and whistled an lights came on , and my daughter and i must look silly crouched down in front of it going . HI fishy , come here fishy , but it does come over and "eat" and burp , and dances and responds when you call her , gets scared when you get loud , (my dog started barking and the fish hid ) , my daughter thinks its sooo cool , and I'm very pleased .. come on other people it's a KIDS toy , it's not gonna jump out of the container and do flips , it's plastic , so sometimes it breaks , (I always tell my daughter to be Kind to her toys ) it's entertaining , fun , kinda educational shows them you have to change the water , feed , be quite and play with your "pet". I just think all and all it's a fun toy , and if your child is begging for a fish/turtle/hermit crab, but your scared of the belly up in the bowl and the emotional explosion after , or there just to young to have a pet yet , (like someone else said you don't HAVE to have water in the bowl ) I say if you can find this get it , its fun / silly / and just something to make your child giggle . I hope to find another one and the little kit with the bridge so my daughter can have more then one and connect the two "tanks" and the pets can play together .
