I bought this hat for sun protection while mowing my 11 acre yard. I had already spent three times the price of this one for an Outdoor Research Sun Runner cap that didn't keep my face and neck covered and kept blowing off of my head. This hat is so much better in my opinion.This is plenty big enough, comfortable, well made, and gives me excellent coverage. The mesh in the face mask keeps my sun glasses from fogging up and made breathing easy while blocking out all of the dust (no more dust boogers after mowing). The snap in front keeps it from blowing open in the wind and the strap keeps the wind from blowing it off of my head. Then there is the super important ponytail hole.I will probably buy a second one in the lighter color, because the black one will probably get too hot in the intense Tennessee summer heat. Meanwhile, I will continue to use the black one that makes me look like a Mow Ninja.
