JNQ89P Summer Solstice paper pice, Finishes at 58" x 58"

I am pretty new to the Judy Niemeyer collection of quilts and this was my third one I have made and it was so much fun. As you know, if you have made Judy's quilts before, they can be a huge challenge( and thats just trying to understand the instructions:) but once you get the hang of how Judy writes her instructions, this is a very easy quilt to make. I love Judy's patterns not only because they are stunning but because they make you think. Not only does she incorporate traditional general seamstress applications like a physical pattern piece but also paper piecing and at the very end, when you are putting the pieces together, Judy adds a dash of jigsaw puzzle to the mix that makes it so much fun to put your quilt together. Trust me, you will love this quilt and enjoy making it as much as I did. By the way, the quilt I made turned out better than I expected, it doesn't get any better than that. Happy quilting, Laurie

This was my first Judy Niemyer pattern. It took me a few days to study the pattern and watch her videos but my quilt turned out beautifully. The instructions are lengthy but very detailed so if you follow them closely you should have a beautiful quilt as well. I have done one other of her table runners with equally good results.
