Huggaroo Soothe Microwave Heating Pad for Migraine Relief

The Huggaroo head wrap feels luxurious with comfy and soft material. Comforting and soothing, this heating pad combines the perfect amount of warmth and light pressure. Super easy to prepare-all that is needed is just seconds in the microwave, and then it is ready! I was excited when it arrived earlier than expected and to discover how high-quality the product is. I am very satisfied in all ways and would recommend this product to my closest friends!

So versatile! In both how to use it and where to use it. Great for migraines and headaches, but large enough to help ice other aches n pains too (knees, wrists, lay it on stomach cramps...). It is oh so very soft which is always nice. Sometimes with my migraines, even pressure from my hands hurt. Since these ice packs are very hard when frozen solid (that's kind of the point), I tend to make a dome around my head rather than touching the hard packs to my head. It feels amazing! Especially on the eyeballs and sinus pressure areas. It's like sticking your head in a freezer LOL. Once they melt some, I can tighten it up for more contact if needed. It stays colder longer so less of a hassle to get up and switch out packs. It's good for me. Hope it's good for you. Note: i always put the soft cuddly side against skin even though all photos show it on the outside...it just feels nicer

Unlike gel-filled microwaveable foam headache relief caps, this wrap around pad provides a moist heat. Gel-filled headache caps heat unevenly: all the edges are much hotter than the middle and each edge can be uncomfortable or even burn the skin.I know this because I own but have now disposed of three gel caps. Because it is a wrap rather than a cap, you can change the portion of your forehead that gets concentrated warmth, from a headache that is centered behind your eyes to one that is high on your forehead; although it is wide enough to cover all those areas at once. I also like that you can wrap this pad as tight or as loose as desired. Gel-caps can't be adjusted. It is much more durable than any of the 3 different gel caps I have owned. I have microwaved this wrap at least 75 times and it looks and feels like new. Not one of my gel caps lasted that long before bubbles and tears in the outer covering appeared. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating is because it still hurts my ears, just like all the other caps I have tried (even one with ear cutouts). There is an easy solution that could perhaps even save the maker money over time. If the two bottom rings only contained about 10 inches of filling, then the portion of the pad covering the ears would not be excessively warm, and the maker would save a lot of filling material. Bottom line. I highly recommend but wish and hope it is improved.

I really loved everything about this product....except how long it held it’s heat. When it was fresh from the microwave, it hit all the necessary points for me. Great temperature, nice amount of pressure, really soft and comfortable enough to lay in my bed on my pillow. However the heat just went away so quickly! Some of that is probably due to me. I have to keep a really cool environment due to my chronic illnesses. I really wanted to love it but in the end, I just need a longer heat cycle. For what it is worth, if you have migraines, I think you should try it.

I found this to be a big comfort during bad migraines. It is so cold and so soft. It comes with an extender in case it is too small for your head. Luckily it fit without it, the extender doesn't have any ice packs, just more soft blue material, so it may not be as comforting for those who need it since it won't be cold there. It can be pulled over the eyes and ears to block out light (and some sound), or you can angle it up and still be able to see and hear. Tip: Store this in a gallon freezer bag in the freezer so that the fabric doesn't absorb any freezer food scents. I bought a second one so if I need to use it multiple times in a day there will always be a cold one. I don't regret it!

I have chronic migraines. While I do take meds for them, the meds don't always work, which usually leaves me laying in bed with a cold wet washcloth over my forehead / face. As you can imagine, the washcloth doesn't stay cold for very long, and god forbid I move position, it will slip off my head. With this huggarroo wrap, I love that I can velcro it on, and still move around and have it stay on! I didn't need the extender pack that it came with, but I'm sure some people may, and it was nice that that was included. It stay cold for a good period of time, and it significantly has helped with my migraines. I've only used it a few times so far, but I am sold and will definitely recommend this to anyone else with migraines. Awesome product, very happy I found it.

I have been a migraine sufferer for years and I'm very glad I bought this product. It stays cold for a good amount of time and it fits snugly around your head. It also includes a small extension piece in case you have a little larger head. I think it is a very acceptable amount of cold. It's not the coldest 'ice pack' I've used for sure, but this doesn't 'burn' your head from the cold and I can leave this on any amount of time. Only half of the wrap has the ice packs in it, so you can have it cool the front side of your face or the back of your head; or any side in-between. I wish I bought this sooner. I can sleep with it on and it provides a lot of relief.

I literally have had this item for two weeks and it busted open today in the microwave and all over the floor! Very disappointed in the lack of durability of this product. Up until now I did enjoy using it and thought it was a good product but it is now a waste of my money. I can’t even return it because it busted open and all of the rice inside or seeds are spilling out everywhere so I had to throw it away. Very disappointed!
