This is a simple, sturdy adapter. Very impressed. My old FD lenses fit well. As others have pointed out, you have to set a custom setting in the camera to trigger the shutter "without lens" as there is no communication between the body and lens; nor for AF or aperture. The "Lock-Open" ring allows you to easily, in one, short turn switch between full-open iris (for focusing) and stopped-down for metering and exposure.My old Canon 28mm 2.8FD and Vivitar 70-210 3.8 both fit snug and solid. Where's my 50mm 1.8???Very hard to focus on the live view screen without using the zoom feature, and you have to un-zoom to take a picture. But it does allow focus to infinity just fine. Can see using almost exclusively for tripod-supported photos and video. But for the low price this is a great buy to give new life to my old lenses. And I'm already looking out for some cheap deals to create a set of fast prime lenses for video.

This nicely made metal adapter fits my M200 and T2 lenses well with no threading issues. The interior of the adapter is flat black, so it should not cause any unwanted reflection problems. The adapter locks properly into the Canon M200. It comes with a small hex wrench in case you need to change the T2 Mount rotation. Note that the small wrenches that come with these various adapters do not necessarily have the same set screw sizes. I noticed that the screws with this adapter did not use the same hex wrench as as a T2 to Canon RF adapter that I have, so you need to be very careful not to strip a screw by using the wrong size. Some of these adapters also have a slotted screw, which can be very easy to ruin. There were minimal instructions that came with the adapter, but you really do not need much. (See attached picture.)

I'm using this product to adapt my old SMC PENTAX-M 1:2 50mm lens on my Canon M50 body. While it does and fits very snag, it fails to perform infinity focus, that is the reason for 4 star rating. Very solid construction and a nice budget adapter if you don't care for the issue mentioned above. I will try out much more expensive "Made in Japan" adapter by Kindai(Rayqual) and review the difference.

Got this for my eos-m to use vintage lenses and magic lantern for 4K and 5k raw video. Once I figured out how to adjust the set screw in the side to align the lens rotation it has been perfect. This is my only adapter so I can’t compare to more expensive ones. Definitely worth the money!

i bought this product, among several other similar products, in 2016. I put this adapter through a lot, big heavy vintage lenses on an EOS-M camera out in the middle of some rainy muddy field, trekking through the dusty dry lands in the summer time and so on. This adapter got shelved with a handful of others a couple years ago, and today i decided to put them to use again. The ring on the internal part of the adapter was VERY loose and i was somewhat concerned at first, as the lens would simply rotate at the slightest touch. After checking the product page to possibly order a replacement, i saw the instruction on the product image, explaining and displaying the adjustable flange. Once i tightened the screws up, it was back to holding solid. Great product, reliable, easy to use. Will definitely be ordering another one soon based solely on ease of use and reliability.

I recently inherited some Nikon AF camera lenses. They were really beautiful lenses, but I had a Canon M50 Mark II. I was having the hardest time finding any adapters that would work, and after a couple false starts, I found this one. It is a perfect fit, and very, very solidly made. Clearly, a company that takes pride in the quality of their products. Absolutely fantastic!

Like, at all. Just doesn't fit. Its machined well for some spec but I'm not sure what the mount actually is as it doesn't cleanly fit an FD mount, only friction fit. The blades are too thick.
