Big, fantastic quality sound from little speakers
My old JPWs having finally given up the ghost after 28 years, I was a bit trepidatious about having to acquire much smaller speakers in order to meet my budget. My apprehensions were proved unfounded though with these gems from Cambridge Audio. A doddle to set up with my existing banana plug speaker cables fitting straight in with no problems whatever, and my (also nearly 30-year old) Creek amp feeding them superbly. With these speakers I'm hearing tiny little micro-sounds from my synth music favourites such as Tangerine Dream and Steve Roach that I've never heard before. I may be taking up the option Cambridge provide (in the box contents) of inserting foam bass tuning bungs into the provided ports as the bass is a little boomy compared to what I'm used to- but that's just personal preference and may be a function of the speaker location. Overall I strongly recommend these speakers.

Great sound.
For the money they speakers are amazing. Sound quality is great, clear as bell. Slightly bigger than expected compared to my other C. A. Evo S speakers, which cost three times the price of these. Overall you'll need to search well to find a pair of speakers this good for the money.

Fantastic small speakers
These speakers sound great, picking up nuances in the music that were lost on my old ones. Small doesn't mean poor reproduction , they are well built and coupled with my elderly Nad 3020e amp and Brennan JB7 sound fantastic.👍

Sounds amazing
Had bought these after my Wharfdale speakers packed in. Look the part. Very sturdy. The sound coming from them are so warm, clear and the tones you get from them are amazing. Heard things I’ve never heard before. With a decent amp the will annoy the neighbours. Glad I bought them.

Bass was muddy and overpowering and bass & treble seemed to drowned out the mid tones
In fairness I’ve only tried these in a small room, with vintage Pioneer amplifier but for me it was hard to catch the mid tones which seemed to be submerged behind the treble and bass unproportionally. I would have hoped that vocals were front sounding not in the background. The bass was muddier than expected for such a well known quality make of audio equipment. I am trying some Warfdales at almost half the price which so far are giving a much more comfortable experience and satisfactory sound separation and clarity without drowning the mid tones , straight out of the box. Having said this, It’s down to individual choice, and like I said, I haven’t yet tried the Cambridge Audios in a large room space yet which could well bring them into their own, it could be that they sound better at higher volumes in a larger room. Lastly it must also be taken into account that new speakers need time to break in before them mellow out.

Fantastic
What a fantastic pair of speakers running off Denon amp 100watt per channel output. Lovely deep bass comes from 6 1/2 inch cone. Requires 4mm Banana plugs to connect.

Very low quality
Brand new speakers and one of them has split on the carcass. Also this speakers sound tragic they are not worth maybe £50. Waste of time.
