It fit well, was light, comfortable and I will be able to move around fully when I work out and do yoga, with full coverage. I am glad I purchased two because I live in these things as I work from home. I am hoping they will get softer with washing.

These are 84% cotton and the pockets are deep enough to hold a cell phone, 6a not sure about a standard sized big cell phone, but a smaller one that you have to keep with you so your glucose monitor wont be screaming, for sure. It probably could hold a big one, I don't know. Anyway, these are soft and will be fine in hot FL summer. XL fits perfect on my 174 lbs & 5'3" and they are a nice length a couple inches above knee. They aren't baggy, they are not tight like Yoga shorts. The pockets are super! They are deep enough even though they are slanted so the stuff doesn't fall out when you sit. You will not see thru these shorts. It is a very nice knit weight - not as heavy as sweatshirt, but not as light as a tee shirt. It's the standard light grey that kinda goes with everything.

Got these today. They are the perfect length, a little stretchy, and super comfortable. I think I'll purchase more of them.

Update:I ordered the charcoal originally and they were perfect. The black version fits differently, feels a little like the backside is shorter and it shifts funny while working out. Also made of a different material than the charcoal- stiffer. Another review made the same point. Charcoal is perfect. Other colors not so much. Removing 2 stars.Original review:Love the longer 10" length, waist band holds up in workouts, not as slouchy as sweats material, but still soft. Thin enough to be summer cool but not so thin to wear out quickly. Don't change a thing!
