David Eugene Ostergaard is my father, and the author of this and Advanced Diemaking. McGraw-Hill has never recognized him or his family in any way. While he should have received, and should still be receiving a percentage of all sales of his books, no monies or other recognition have ever been offered. As these books are still being used at colleges nationwide, I feel it is important for buyers to know this. I purchased this book for my program at school, After reading through it, I noticed that part of Chapter 1 and all of Chapter 2 are missing from the book. My friend purchased this same book, and his copy has all the chapters.Otherwise, it is a good read, and very informative.
