Q: My 110 lb. dog likes to roll around on his cool mat. he has ruined 2 by forcing the gel into the corners of the mat. will the arf pets mat hold up?

I had a 73 lb boxer bye she was 11 1/2 and Vet docile. It worked well for us and even the cat liked it.

I’ve had mine 2 years and zero decay. Solid product. I have it in my 13 year old black lab’s crate and it’s his absolute favorite spot. Buy with confidence. It works.

Q: Will this keep my dog cool outside?

My dog loves this mat. As to how cool it keeps my dog I don't know because my dog can't tell me but it must work because he uses it. I recommend keeping the mat out of the sun because the mat will get hot although it provides cooling but laying on it hot can burn. I recommend putting it in the shade on a hot day. It feels cool when I sit in on and it beats sitting on a hot cement form my dog and myself. We even use it in the house. What I personally love about the mat is no refrigeration is required, it recools itself within a short time after getting up, my dog scratches on it like he is trying to make his bed and it doesn't tear like others, and it is extremely easy to food up and bring back into the house. I recommend this mat.

Q: do i need put this mat in the refrigerator before give my pet to use?

It wouldn't be a bad idea. The mat itself isn't cooler than the ambient temperature, but it does act as a kind of "heat sink" so that it conducts heat away from your pet's body when they lay on it. Think of it like sitting on a steel chair vs a wooden chair when it is really cold outside. In reality both are the same temperature as the surrounding air, but the steel chair FEELS colder because it conducts heat away from your body so much more efficiently than wood. FWIW, I mainly use mine when I take my dogs to the dog park. I put the mat in a cooler with a jug of frozen water so when we get back, the mat is nice and cool. I lay the mat down on the back seat and the dogs cool off fairly quickly.
