After running through my stash of IKEA Omsorg shoe trees and learning that IKEA may have discontinued the item, I turned to Amazon and found these. These are nearly identical to the IKEA product however, they have a much larger toe box making them more difficult to get into and take out of shoes. These also cost more than the IKEA product. Time will tell how well they hold up but so far, I'm really happy with the purchase as these appear to be a very good alternative.

Ok product, not a great quality, does the job.

I was a little skeptical when I bought them thinking that the price was "too good to be a quality product". They arrived, were easy to use and worked great. They are a little flimsy, but as long as you don't "try" to break them, they will work just how you'd like them to.

IF these spring loaded shoe trees had fit properly in my men's 12 and 13 Vans Sk8-Hi and Old-Skool sneakers, I would have bought a dozen more of these trees! Quality is not the issue. Fit is!I soooo wanted these trees to work for me! I have a growing shoe and sneaker collection and I wanted to use these shoe trees to prevent curling and creases in my men's size 12 and 13 shoes and sneakers.I am not looking to stretch my shoes, only to keep them in their original shape and prevent creases in the tops of my shoes.My issue is with the height and width of the vamp. (The vamp is the part of the shoe tree that goes into the shoe first.) For standard medium width Vans Sk8-Hi and Old-Skool sneakers, the vamp is too narrow to provide any lateral (left to right) stretch across the shoe. Also, they are not tall/thick enough to compensate in a vertical direction for the lack of their width.I ran into the same issue with all my Reebok and Nike basketball and walking shoes. They are just not tall or wide enough to have any impact on creases in the shoes.No issues with the shoe tree's length for men's size 12 or 13, and they should prevent curling if that is your main concern/goal.Also if you have very narrow shoes, they will probably work great for you. Will probably work really well in women's shoes even though the one's I ordered were for men's shoes.The quality is what I expected. I think they are worth their price if they properly fit your shoes. They are a moderately thin plastic with some give and flex. I can see how one could try to over flex the plastic and break it. Also, not sure if the plastic will get brittle over time. The spring is as strong as I expected and the shoe tree works as intended length-wise in men's 12 and 13 shoes. I think they would last so long as you are careful inserting and removing from your shoes. Again, I would have bought more if they fit properly.

There may be better options here, but not for the value. 10 for something like $20—sometimes I give shoes away and its nice to not feel bad about losing a pair of trees with the sale or share. They do the trick. If I redesigned them I would weight the front so they access the front toe box better; sometimes the flimsy plastic gets stuck without going all the way to the font.

This shoe tree is extremely firm, which is both good and bad I guess. On one hand, it will hold the shoe’s shape up very well because of how stiff it is. On the other hand, it could be too stiff and strong and end up damaging the shoe.
