Approve of the Dalluge!
My new hammer was delivered on time and as expected. I put it to use right away and am very happy with it. Good balance. I lost my Stilleto trim hammer and decided to give the Dalluge a try for half he price. I have been a carpenter for 30 years and can tell you that this hammer is worth the money.

I'm not a pro...
Maybe it is just me but the weight and feel of this hammer just seems off. Probably because I am a weekend DIY type guy, not a professional hammerer ;-) It does seem to be high quality as far as the parts are concerned, just feels awkward for me to swing..

Great finishing hammer.
The 12 oz weight is perfect for general and trim work. The 14" handle is long enough for a good swing, the balance is good, and it feels "right".

NOT THE SAME wheres the quality?
They don't make this hammer like they used to it's no longer polished to a mirror finish and the claw is half an in shorter. Sucks...it was a great hammer make it right again and I'll buy it.You can see pictures of the way the finish used to be and the way it is now on the internet. On the new one you can see grind marks on it and the edges are sharp. I have an old one edges are rounded and the whole thing is polished to mirror finish.

Trim Carpenters Hammer
Great Tool. Made in the USA. Money well spent.I use this hammer almost every day. I like the way it feels when I hit a nail or a nail punch. The balance is very good, and does not bounce back sideways like some hammers do.The curved handle gives much more control than a straight handle. The shape of the head and the claw are perfect for trim use. The V in the claw is fine enough to pull even 18 gauge brads. The head is slightly rounded at the edge and does not easily leave marks. Use a block if you have to beat something over.

Impossible to pull nail. good for the rest
Good balance.. Easy to drive over your head. The claw are to small and not sharp enough for removing finishing nail like 16 or 18 ga.
