Flavor Magic
Great for Beef especially Top Sirloin/Pichana Ribeye & New York Steaks. Spicy not Hot most of which comes from Picante Paprika as opposed to a Blackbor Whie Pepper hot. Medium to heavy coverage works well as its flavor is not overly salty and just has a great robust flavor!

Flavor Fusion is on Point!
Kosmos Q Dirty Bird BBQ Dry Rub – A Game-Changer for BBQ Lovers! I recently tried the Kosmos Q Dirty Bird BBQ Dry Rub (16 Oz Bag), and it’s hands-down one of the best seasonings I’ve ever used for grilling and smoking chicken. As a veteran in Wimauma, FL, who loves hosting backyard BBQs for family and friends, this sweet and spicy rub has taken my cooking to a whole new level, and I can’t recommend it enough! Flavor That Packs a Punch: The blend of brown sugar, red pepper, garlic, and paprika creates a perfect balance of sweet heat that elevates every bite. I used it on chicken wings and pork ribs, Turkey during thanksgiving and the flavor was incredible—sweet enough to caramelize beautifully on the grill, with a red pepper kick that adds just the right amount of spice without overwhelming the palate. My family, including my kids, devoured the wings, raving about the “sweet and zesty” taste. My father-in-law even said it was the best BBQ chicken he'd ever had. Versatility for Every Dish: What I love most is how versatile this rub is. It’s marketed for poultry, but I’ve used it on pork loin, turkey/turkey legs, and even roasted veggies, and it never disappoints. The rub sticks well to meat, creating a mouthwatering crust when smoked low and slow on my pellet grill. I even sprinkled some on grilled kabobs, and it added a bold, savory depth that had everyone asking for my “secret.” It’s become a staple in my kitchen, just like the grill masters on X who swear by it for everything from ribs to eggs. Quality and Ease of Use: The 16-ounce bag is generous, and the built-in shaker makes application a breeze—no mess, no fuss. The ingredients are top-notch, with real brown sugar and spices, and no unnecessary fillers, which I appreciate as someone who values quality. I’ve noticed it’s less salty than other rubs, which lets the natural flavors of the meat shine through, though you can adjust the amount to taste. Perfect for Any BBQ Occasion: Whether I’m smoking ribs for a Sunday family gathering or grilling chicken for a quick weeknight dinner, Dirty Bird delivers championship-worthy results every time. It’s no wonder Kosmos Q calls it an award-winning blend—it’s like having a pitmaster’s secret weapon in my pantry. Minor Note: A few reviews mentioned broken seals on delivery, but my bag arrived perfectly intact via Amazon. Just double-check your package upon arrival. Final Verdict: If you’re a BBQ enthusiast or just want to impress at your next cookout, the Kosmos Q Dirty Bird BBQ Dry Rub is a must-have. It’s flavorful, versatile, and easy to use, making it perfect for both backyard cooks and serious pitmasters. I’m already planning to try it on brisket next, inspired by reviews praising its caramelization. This rub is worth every penny, and I’ll be stocking up for future BBQs

Low Sodium - Low Sweet Excellent!
This is a tasty low sodium rub with the slight flavor of honey sweetness just right. Very good on ribs and chicken wings in a pellet smoker. The rub combines with the fat and you end up with a nice glaze and no mess. I am going to order more of the Kosmos Q rubs from Amazon since the quality and taste of this rub product is fine dining. I did let the rub sit on the meat for 24 hours before cooking in the fridge wrapped. I prefer the low sodium rubs that have great flavor and this one hits the target.

Not too spicy. Great balance of sweet and spice.
This rub delivers an outstanding balance of sweet heat that works beautifully on a wide range of meats. The honey-forward sweetness hits first, followed by a smooth chipotle smokiness that adds just the right amount of spice without overpowering the flavor of the food. I use this on pork ribs, and it was awesome. This is now one of my family's favorite spices.

This is a great seasoning for chicken. We are trying to eat healthier and this helps spice things up. We make extra chicken to have ready to go in the freezer and this is a great seasoning.

step up your bbq flavor
I pride myself on my tri tip here on the California central coast. I have found the absolute perfect spice mix the cow cover is low salt which allows me to first put a thin layer of Suzy Q rub followed by a generous layer of cow cover. I have cooked thousands of tri tips, hundreds of different ways and this is my go to for about a year, cooked over coastal live oak or in my smoker this is a winner, I have people saying they can never get their tri tip to come out like mine, well the secret is out now.. tip: dry rub and leave on a rack uncovered overnight in the fridge, then low and slow...
