This is one of the best thing I've done for my parrot! This cover is awesome. It is not only so much better looking than the crazy many sheets I had been using for past years but provides the consistent darkness. We rescued my Blue and Gold Macaw from an abusive neglectful owner. One of the best things for my boy is to have regular sleep times for him and this cover provides the darkness he needs for the regular hours even in summer I'm able to neatly cover him so he can rest well. And it looks good on the cage. Fits really well! The cover was at my door very quickly and I couldn't be happier. If you love your feather baby then get a proper cover like this!

It could be thicker, that would machete better. Anyway, it is a big help every evening!I use under one of the old sheets , all rolled up. Just in case if my cockatoo gets in a distorting mood, it worked!

It's terrific to be able to cover my cockatoo's entire cage and it's no more difficult then tossing blankets over it. Easier in fact as the blankets like to fall off. This cover makes it very dark inside, perfect for sleeping birds.Fabric is like a thick black sheet. I think a heavier fabric might be preferable for the price, but it should do the job.
