Boon SQUIRT Silicone Baby Food Dispensing Spoon, Pink

I started solids on my 5 month old and I have a squirt spoon from another brand (Nuby I think it's called) and absolutely loved it. I bought it while on vacation in another country and I'm sorry I only bought one. I wanted to see if my baby liked it before investing in another one, but she loves it so now I need one for sweet purees and another for salty ones. So when I saw this I was super excited! However, excitement turned to disappointment when I used for the first time as it leaks no matter how tight you screw it. It was super annoying because it was leaking all over my baby so needless to say I will not be using this any more. I don't recommend this product.

This product is Amazing!!! I happened to get a hand me down boon spoon about 8 years ago. I saved it for years to use with my other kids. I needed more to use since I now had kids in sports/activities and I was always on the go. I would put my baby's food in one of these and take it to go in my diaper bag. They come with a spoon cover that is hard plastic that covers the hole where the food comes out of. The body of the spoon is a soft silicone that you gently squeeze to get the pureed food out. The spoon itself is a hard plastic but we had no issues. It is easy to clean and comes apart in 2 pieces. Seriously, best gadget ever! This is coming from a mother of 4 who has probably owned and purchased every gadget out there to make life easier!!

First of all this is not our first boon product and wont be our last. Boon makes babying EASY!! This soon is great because you can add the amount of food baby needs, our baby doesn't eat the whole jar yet therefore double dipping with a regular baby spoon is a no no because of bacteria. Reason number 2 that I love this spoon is that I dont get baby food all over MY hands. The spoon itself seems easy for baby to eat off of. Easy to wash, I put the tube part on the top rack of the dish washer and the spoon part in our boon dishwasher basket. Also this product comes with a cover for the spoon with is great for the diaper bag. I think Ill order another so that when ones dirty I have a back up!!

I like this spoon. Great for on the go! It comes with a cap to keep from leaking. My baby is 4 months old and can easily swallow the amount the spoon can hold. I like the idea but they should have covered the tip of the spoon in silicone instead of the plastic. that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

I like boon products but not a huge fan of this one. The idea is good but a few issues I had: (1) food inside must be fully puréed so this would work okay for yogurt or maybe packaged baby food. I made my own baby food which isn’t always super smooth, and it would get stuck in the small opening when I squeezed. This is also an issue because once my baby started eating, she enjoyed textured food. (2) for travel, there is a flimsy cover for the spoon piece. It’s so small so it’s easily lost, and worse, a major choking hazard. When i wanted to use this spoon on the go, i was in a small space so the cap was within my daughters reach, unless I held it. Again, i like boon products but this one wasn’t a winner for me.

Love this, my baby is BF and hates the bottle this is another way for my caregiver to get milk to her while I am away!

This is a great idea for feeding baby! Since babies don't always finish meals, leftovers are easily kept fresh since the spoon comes with it's own lid. Just pop the whole thing in the refrigerator! This spoon is so easy to use and keeps baby from grabbing the babyfood jar or bowl, or knocking it to the floor. The best part about this spoon is not just the convenience, but that the handle is wide enough for baby to help you hold with zero possibility of making a mess! Buy this spoon and you won't be disappointed. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the spoon itself is a bit too deep for the baby to be able to get all the food off the spoon's surface in one bite. If this portion were a bit flatter, that wouldn't happen, but still it's really not much of an issue.

Works very well for homogenized blended food like sweet potato, pear, beets, blueberries and anything without seeds (don't try blended blackberries...). At first I was skipping solid meals or pushing them back when we go out since they're only for practice and supplement. But with how clean and easy it is - spoon, container, no spill lid - all in one, I'm able to feed her at her set meal time! Love how is so easy to clean too!

what a product. so easy on the go. heat at home I wrap in a clean nappy to keep warm and away u go and lunch is warm in a couple of hours when your out and baby wants feeding

Just started weaning my girl and was veryyyy easy while we were traveling.. was so much less mess and i knew nothing would spill much in car as compared to open pots .. however i find little difficult while trying less quantity atm .. but i am hopeful that once my child will be eating good portion this will resolve .. all in all veryy convinent specially when out and about

perfect for when your out. i heat up the food to boiling point and then put it all in this and it stays warm for 3 hours and means i don't need any bowls or spoons or jars of food. Bought another 2 years later for second child and I love these i now have 1 for her main meal and 1 for her pudding. Perfect

Love this product! Have bought so many as gifts for new parents so was happy to see if available in Amazon. Don't know what I would have done without this spoon when my child was an infant- made going out feeding so easy!!
