Ever since I got lasik surgery, I am always forgetting my reading glasses. Before when I wore glasses, there was no worry as they were on my face from the time I got out of bed to when I returned to sleep I now own about ten pairs of reading glasses...somewhere. I have no idea where they are. With these fresnel lenses in my wallet at least I can read the menu. If you have never used them before, they are nothing like reading glasses but they are great in an emergency. The price was reasonable enough that I sent some to a friend with the same problem as a gift.++++++++++++++++++ABOUT ME:I finally got fed up with the traffic and lack of competing products to choose from when shopping at the local big-box stores so now I do almost all my shopping on Amazon. I recently read  Cyber Fraud: The Web of Lies  by Brian Seely, about Google Map frauds and have taken to heart that the best way to counter fake reviews is for legitimate customers to post more real reviews. Currently, 100% of my reviews are for products that I paid full price for. In the future, if I some how manage to convince a company to send me something for free, you can rest assured that I won't be changing my opinion of a product based on what I paid for it. I want the best products available and we should all be able to know what they are. About 20 years ago I saw a credit card sized magnifier at a local drug store. I loved having it handy in my wallet to read small print, restaurant bills, contracts, or food ingredients and OTC drug labels, etc., when I was out and about. After using it almost daily for many years, it finally cracked one day when my wallet was overstuffed. I did a quick repair with Scotch tape, and went back to the drugstore to buy a new one, but they no longer carried them. I searched high and low for many years, but never found one again in local stores.When I saw these Fresnel Lens magnifier cards on Amazon, I ordered the 4 pack immediately!! The product arrived quickly, and was exactly what I wanted! I immediately put one in my wallet, put one in my desk drawer, gave one to my brother, and sent the last one to a friend. What was really amazing to me was the price for the 4 pack was actually LESS than what I had payed for ONE magnifier card two decades ago!! I couldn't be more thrilled!! These make a wonderful little gift to easily mail to friends, so order several packs. Each magnifier comes in its own protective sleeve. This is a fabulous product I couldn't live without!!

I purchased this item to spare myself the trouble of bringing my reading glasses anytime I'm out shopping.These mag cards fit conveniently into my standard size men's wallet. Sturdy yet flexible so it won't crack or lose its shape.Clear image up to a 6 inch distant. Small viewing window but if you're using it just to check exp. dates and/or ingredients as I do it will suffice. 4 mag cards come with obscure protective sleeves which are great to protect from scratches but it would be better if the sleeves were crystal clear so you can use the cards without having to remove them. My wallet acts as a sleeve so I don't bother with the cover. These 4 pack cards w/sleeves are worth the price compared to the competition. Be aware, the more cards offered by a seller the thinner the cards might be. I do recommend this 4 pack brand of credit card type magnifiers for their quality, convenience, price, and the added protective sleeves.Great stocking stuffers.

I work with insurance claims, and for some reason, people think that I can read faded receipts with tiny numbers even though THEY obviously can't read it. (Seriously, folks - if you want to get paid for something, write LEGIBLY and make sure you can read what you're sending in!! If you can't, neither can I!) I bought these because my arms aren't long enough to hold things far enough away from my eyes so I can read them.I use them with my reading glasses, and they do help. These cards also fit easily into my wallet and my phone holster. A four pack is $6.47 right now, and that's really good.

I love these. The optics are crystal clear. It's a package of four, so I have one in my wallet and one in each floor of the house. My eyes aren't bad enough where I need to wear glasses all the time, but there are things I can no longer read (like that microprinting on food labels). I never think to take the readers when I go out and menus in a dimly lit restaurant can often be unreadable. Magnification level is very good. Remember to put them in the case when you are done as they are pretty much invisible on a table or floor

HANDY! Having their own case is really nice - that's what "sold" me on these vs others....because once a scratch gets on these little things, I would imagine it will be useless to try to magnify and read around scratches. The quality of the magnifying was surprisingly good. I am 69 and only just now needing some kind of "glasses" only to read the fine print on a package or something, so have tucked one of these in my wallet, my cell phone, kitchen and bathroom drawers, and actually ordering another set of 4 for other places. Eliminates clunky glasses!

I purchased these as an alternative fire starter option that I could carry in my wallet. I tried using it on a 70% hazy day and was able to create heat and smoke on paper but was not successful in starting a fire. If I was willing to stick to it I probably could have started a fire. I think it would work faster on a perfectly clear day. It is so lightweight and might work, I may end up including this in my every day carry (EDC).I purchased a 7" x 10" solar lense for my survival kit similar to these. It was able to start a fire on the same day instantly. I would still throw these in a kit as they weight nothing and may help, but for true survival I would rather count on a larger option.
