This kit is amazing, the items inside are beautiful, love working with it, I am 82 and really enjoyed working with it!

This is a fantastic little kit. We bought it for my daughter (age 7) and she loves working on it. This isn't something she is able to do on her own yet, but as long as I'm there to help keep threads from getting tangled and pieces from getting misaligned, she's able to complete the projects and feels very accomplished and proud of herself when she's done. The projects are well designed and ordered from easiest to most difficult, and the colors and craft designs are perfect for her age group. It usually takes a few sittings to complete each one, because she doesn't have the stamina or attention span to finish one in a single try yet, but it's great to have a simple project with well ordered steps that she can work on a little at a time at her age. Highly recommend.

My neice love this gift 8yrs old. She started the star in front of me, told her to read the instructions an she said I dont have too, it has the holes made for me, I know how to do this. Well, she made the star stuffed it then went wait how am I suppose to make the face...I said told u to look at the instructions first. She said, oh guess I should have listened.

This sewing kit has been a real hit in our home! There are 5 projects to make, the materials are thick and soft to the touch, the instructions are a breeze to follow, and the pre-cut and pre-punched pieces make the learning process stress-free. The unicorn and the fairy are our favorites now. It is a nice way to introduce a kid to sewing!

This is my second attempt at reviewing this product. For some reason my first review did not comply, even though I did not post anything against the guidelines. The first project is fairly easy and my 7 year old only needed help with the knots. Then, when we got to the rainbow, the frustration began. If you are not careful, you will mess up easily like we did. The instructions are very simple and general. There needs to be more than, “sew the front and back together with a whip stitch.” If you don’t get the right cloud pieces together, you’ll have to keep redoing it. The unicorn was rather difficult. It didn’t explain the extra holes in the tail and mane. The items themselves were great quality and the finished product was great. It’s just the instructions were lacking. Plus, they only have pictures of the items needed, no words. So, we mixed up the pink threads and white threads. How hard would it have been to write, “use the light pink thread,” or “use the off white thread?” And, we ran out of the stuffing. This kit is better with an adult instead of a kid by themselves (unless the child has sewing experience).

My daughter LOVED this kit! Whoever designed it was a genius because it’s all so well-thought out, there is so much attention to the details! Here’s what we loved: 1. They give you plastic needles and fabric with pre-made holes. Brilliant! It really sets you up for success. 2. They give you enough needles, so you have one for each color. You don’t need to change the thread when sewing. 3. The guide is easy to understand! There are clear steps with pictures. And they have tips too! Don’t skip reading, it will save you a lot of headache. 4. Projects gradually increase in difficulty. You learn something new that is then used in the next project. They really set you up for success there. Love it! 5. The end product is so cute! My daughter wouldn’t let go of the star the whole evening. Her brother wanted to play with it too! The material is so soft! 6. Your child will feel satisfaction from completing a project. My daughter felt so proud! She wants to do more! Thank you so much! We loved this kits and can't wait to do more! What a great activity for "Quite Time"!

We bought this for our 9 year old granddaughter and it was a huge hit. The directions are very clear and she was able to assemble the items without any help. The pieces are precut and holes punched for sewing. Frustration free set of projects!
