No rapid charge, but otherwise are pretty nice
Bought these because I use wireless headsets for my job daily, and inevitably I manage to damage the charging ports after 1-2 years, and have to replace the headset. I'm figuring if I stop having the plug in/out of the mini-B port 1-2 times a day, I might keep from breaking it. Enter - magnets, who knew? Other than Apple, many many years ago. Hush. After a week of use, I think they'll do the job perfectly.Lots of good things to say about these cables. They feel durable and thick - the lengths included are perfect for my needs, and there are a lot of tips to choose from, for all my various gizmos. Comes with USB C, USB Mini-B, and Lightning tips. Tested with my iPad (lightning), kids phone, and 2 wireless headsets (B), and 2 USB-C phones -- all work as expected. The color of the cable is very vibrant, and really look premium. The LED light on the magnetic tip is a really nice touch, makes finding it in a dark room really easy. The light glows all the time (not just when charging), and is a very soft blue light. It's not invasively bright, you won't notice it on your nightstand, and your wife won't make you put it out of sight because it's making creepy shadows on the walls. The magnet holds very strong - I can lift my phone by it, and takes a moderate amount of shaking for the magnet to shake loose; so, this seems more than adequate. They have a great range of motion - the tips swivel 90 degrees, and rotate 360 degrees. I've not noticed that it works better or worse in any orientation, and the charge appears to be constant. I've seen reviews for some other mag-tip chargers that say that the charge drops sometimes, I have NOT experienced this with these tips. So - also very good!I have 2 concerns with these cables:1. The 90 degree swivel is by far the smallest/thinnest piece of the whole cable. It feels pretty sturdy, but seems like IF something is going to break on the cable - it's going to be the swivel. So far, non-issue.2. I can't find any combination of devices or chargers that recognize a rapid charge. It does a "Normal" charge -- my phone will usually show "Slowly" with an underpowered charger, "rapid", or just "Charging". It appears that it's not sub-par/slow, but definitely doesn't work (for me) as rapid. Not a critical issue for me, I guess I can grab the OEM charger/cable when I really need to charge fast; but for normal overnight charging - it's just fine.So - for this, and this alone, I take 1 star off.

Not perfect, but more than worth it!
Okay, sure, I'll admit that the adapters are hit and miss. Occasionally one will fall apart for absolutely no reason. These are still easily the best option for me, and for many of you, I'd bet. Here's the thing. With regular USB cords, not only is there less versatility, but when something goes wrong, you have to replace the entire cord. The fact that the magnet can detach from your phone so easily helps prevent damage to the cord. The rotating does the same. Personally, most of the cord damage I've had is from the tip bending while in the phone. That still happens to me. But it's way cheaper to replace the tips than the cord, and it means I don't have to redo my cable management! I've *never* had to replace one of these cords yet. I bought two different sets initially, and I've bought more only so that I can have them in more places. And I don't need as many total cords since the same one can be used with all our devices! The biggest advantage, though, is that the adapter can stay in the charging port. I used to work in phone repair. Outside of old batteries and damage obviously caused by the user (broken screen, water damage, etc.), I'd bet that charging ports are the next most common part to go bad. It's so easy for them to wear out from normal use. My husband hasn't been using these cords. He recently paid $70 to have his charging port replaced. I can get replace 3 adapters for about $10. Who's winning here?Technically, yeah, the magnet is strong enough that you can hold the phone by the cord...if you're careful with it. It isn't going to prevent a fall. I still think that's best in most situations, because the cord could get damaged much more easily than the phone. And the cords that swivel don't always want to do fast charge or data transfer, but switching adapters usually fixes the problem for me. I just use the ones that don't swivel when I really need it to be reliable. And I have to mention the convenient little holders for the adapters. They come on and off the cord easily, they fit on other cords if necessary, and it even keeps the cords from falling out of their holders. (I use binder clips on desk/table edges and thread cords through the handles.) They aren't much, but I love them!I really love finding exactly the right product that's perfect for me. I'll spend an hour looking for the "best" measuring spoons. This product isn't perfect, but it solves way more problems than any other type of cord I've found. It's definitely the right one for me!

What's not to like
The product works exactly as advertised. Love the ability to magnetically attach it to any one of multiple devices. Works perfectly with fast charging a Samsung phone and data syncs. Had an issue with one of the USB C tips not working and contacted Customer Service. They were extremely apologetic and quickly sent out a set of 3 replacement tips. Everyone knows that with electronics you can sometimes have an issue and it is how a company responds to those issues that demonstrates how the company cares about customer satisfaction. In this case it was a 5 star response to my problem. Given product performance and customer service I can heartily recommend this product and would not hesitate to buy it again.

Does not support reverse power...I have a mac and this failed to poweran external device
Clearly power transmission is one way When I plugged the magnetic end into my MacBook Pro it would not light up the power LED but when I plugged the other end into a standard USB power the light worked and allowed me to charge my cellular device. I would appreciate the manufacturers efforts to making a device that works in both directions because the pivot on this cable is outstanding. It might even be considered a perfect cable if it had that feature.

Not worth it!
I got these and thought the cords were awesome, they weren’t stiff like most cords and every connector was so conveniently set up, but I could not for the life of me keep it charged. The second the cord disconnects from the charging tip, it will not charge again until I get a screwdriver to remove the tip from the phone, and replug it in. Why will it not charge again when the magnet moves the cord off the tip, I don’t know but it’s so freaking annoying!

F'd up my phone.
Somehow one of these cords messed up my phones ability to use data exchange. Before using these cords I could exchange data between my phone and computer using a USB cable fine. After using these cables, my phone now can't function at all with any cable now. The other day I felt the connection while changing my phone and the tips where the phone and cable meet was so hot it burnt my middle finger. It was charging with a 5v charger, so it wasn't even a fast charger. Just be aware that these cables can compromise your phone or device they're charging.

Initial opinion looks good
Just received them today, so only 4 stars right now. If things drastically change I will update my review. The cables do support fast charging with a fast charging plug. I was very surprised that I was able to get a data connection to my computer with it. Contrary to other reviews. Maybe it's dependent on the connection you get on the magnetic connector in your charging port (shrug....) A nice bonus in my opinion. It did come with two 6ft cables and two 3ft cables. Plus 3 connectors of micro usb, usb-c and lightning.
