Mary Kay Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover 3.75 fl. oz.

After the handful of eye makeup removers that I had picked up from my local drugstore had left me with the dreaded “raccoon eyes” at nighttime, I decided to give this Mary Kay one a try. Prior to this product I had never tried anything by Mary Kay before, namely because the overzealous soccer mom sales ladies in my area were a big turn-off (but I digress). Nerveless, I was beyond satisfied with the quality of this eye makeup remover and will be trying out more MK products in the future. Now onto the product review: I absolutely loved this eye Makeup remover; it gets the job done, yet is cost effective. I can remove all my eye makeup, yes even the stubborn water proof mascara and the “stay-all-day” eyeliner and not have ANY leftover residue. And you know what else? I can do all that without using half the bottle in one night. Also, this product does not sting my sensitive eyes, which was a problem I experienced with other eye makeup removers in the past. Furthermore, the best way I have found to use this product is too simply squirt some of it on a cotton pad and hold it over my eyes for about 15 seconds, then begin wiping away the makeup. This way you are first breaking up the eye makeup and then it swipes away like a dream! In terms of product longevity, I have been using this remover every single night for close to a month and a half now and have about 1/4 of the bottle left. I am guessing this product will last a little over two month’s total. And I think $14.00 every two months for a phenomenal product that I consider vital to my skincare routine is a pretty swell deal. There is only one eye makeup remover that I have tried that is better than this Mary Kay one and that is the one by Lancôme. Though that one is around $30.00 for only about half an ounce more, so I will be sticking with this one! Bottom line: I consider this a Holy Grail product and when I run out I will definitely be repurchasing as I will not be without this eye makeup remover.

Not a Mary-Kay regular but I received one of these a year ago as a gift in a sample size & it lasted me a year (I don't wear makeup but once or twice per week & not a lot). This & their Shea Lip Balm are my only MK-items, but I seriously LOVE these! I'm 55 & red-headed (light, freckled rosy complexion with combination skin). This is the ONLY remover that doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes when removing mascara & eyeliner. I've tried all kinds & even micellar water, and even used a dab of fractionated coconut oil with water....nothing has worked like this stuff! It removed the makeup (cotton rounds to apply/remove) and does not dry out or irritate! It also does not leave any residue! so when at night I want to resume my regular 'routine' - I can go right from removal of makeup & simply wipe with a damp cotton round after & I'm ready to apply my nighttime stuff's. AWESOME!!!

First of all, never really liked Mary kay Cosmetics, still don't!! This makeup remover is a game changer for me. 1.Make sure you shake the bottle, so whatever Magic Potion is activated! 2. I used cotton, circular pads. I didn't have any cotton balls available. 3. squirt some product, until its saturated ( not dripping)/ 4. Place it on your eye10-15 seconds, gently swipe. VOILA you dont need to scrub, and tug at your eyelashes. The first swipe took 90% of the extremely thick mascara & eyeliner off, along with ALL my eye shadow. I gently swiped my bottom lash for any remaining residue. Thats it. As far as oily..this is my observation. 1. My eyes felt amazing after. 2. Very soft. 3. No Burning (I have sensitive eyes) 4. looking at my eye area, it appears shiny, but it doesnt feel oily. i know that makes no sense, it didnt to me either, but I CAN'T STAND oily products on my eyes. This morning, when I woke up, no raccoon eyes. No sticking together of my lids, jusst soft amazing eyes! WOW! I have used sso many products in the past, the last one was neutrogena creme remover, recommended by my Bestie. I would tug and tug, so much removing any makeup, it made my eye lids red. The two pictures I posted. The one on the left shows ( using old makeup remover) on my left eye! The one on the right, is using Mary Kay product ( one swipe )!! Amazing, huh??? You bet it is! Finally an eye make up remover that does not hurt or make my eyes water for days! It is super easy to use and it works very well to take off mascara. I have kept purchasing this product over the past year or two - works very well!
