This hat is really lovely. It’s very soft, well made and a beautiful red color. Unfortunately for those of us who have larger heads, L/XL, or a lot of hair, the hat is too small.I tried it every which a way to make it look good on my head because I love the hat, but at best, it looked like a beanie on my head with a couple of misshaped spots.If you have a small or medium head, this hat would be perfect for you. Its soft material would hang just right and you could wear it all different ways and it would complement your outfit. Unfortunately for me, I had to return it.

Years ago, I had a black beret that I lost in a taxi when I got out to go to the airport. I sorely missed it. It was soft, fit great, and shaped just perfectly to make me look super-duper terrific. I've been on a quest to find a suitable replacement. About a year ago, I bought a black beret that initially seemed promising, but it was incredibly itchy and I returned it. I happened to notice the Braxton Wool Beret and decided to give it a go because it looks nifty on the model shown. I also liked that it included angora. It was nicely packaged and arrived when promised. Best of all, it doesn't itch and it fits nicely. I would have given it five stars for style, but it merely makes me look stylish, rather than super-duper terrific (LOL). I have heavier hats for colder weather. The beret is more of a change-of-weather topper. I'm happy with this purchase and hope you'll be equally happy with your Braxton hat.

I am not a hat person....repeat I am NOT a hat person, but this winter I decided I was going to be 🙃This hat is gorgeous! I get compliments every time I wear it. It is thick, warm and cozy. Looks very classy and higher end. This hat completely turned me into a hat person😃 I wear it daily!

Stylish and versatile: can be worn either as a beret or pulled down over the ears like a hat if the temp drops. Very soft and well-made. I bought Braxton pink - the color is pale and delicate.

A beret should have enough material to slouch it to the side a bit. This looks more like a beanie shape when worn at an angle around the middle of the forehead. I measure myself angled across that point to be 22 inches so if your head is under 21 inches you may get a little more slouch of the crown but not much. Lovely quality and burgundy color if you have a smaller head and aren't looking for a real beret look.
