Bought this to fit in a shelf mounted behind the sofa. Plenty of length in the lead to reach the wall sockets. Thread depth is more than sufficient (this is mounted in 1.5" thick pine, with plenty of spare depth to work with). Threads are robust, so you can get the fit good and tight without worrying about damaging the nut slipping and damaging the assembly. The screw holes in the nut are also ideal for ensuring the socket doesn't come loose. Power output is as expected - no noticable dip from the wall socket. All in all, a good purchase.

I made a long skinny table to run along the chaise part of our corner sofa and added this into it so make is easy to charge things whilst on the sofa as well as plug in our heated sofa blanket. It as 2 usb's which is so handy for charging multiple things, easy to install, it's been really reliable - no issues yet. Everyone who visits comments how handy it is - really elevates the space

The images show a black USB port, but it's actually white. It's only a little thing which naturally disappears after you plug anything in.Other than that, it seems fine. We'll have to see how well it holds up - it's not the best made thing in the world, but it seems to do the job.To install how I wanted, I did have to take it apart to thread the cable through a hole. This was easy enough. You remove the cable strain release by squeezing, then you can remove 2 screws. I took the time while I was there to check the wires were the correct way round - other reviews mentioned theirs weren't - but I found mine to be wired correctly.

I needed a socket with usb that's convenient for me and my partner to charge our phones ,this does the job nicely. I fitted it in a shelf behind our headboard so its in an ideal location. Fits very well and tight with the supplied fixing.Highly recommend.

Although I didn’t have the correct size hole saw, it needed to be that big because of the plug. But it works as expected and is a great addition to my desk

Works as should. Easy to install if you have the right size hole cutter.

It's fine in that it works however the wiring is not correct for UK regs and it feels very cheap in the hand.The moulded fitments also make for some cable management challenges if you plan to hide the cable rather than have it dangling from the place it's fit. Would be good to see something like this with a removable power cord.
