My pH strips from Rehydrate Pro are a set of 100 2-color pH strips in a plastic case. The strips are sensitive from pH 4.5-9.0 , in 0.25 increments. They are 3 1/8 inches (8 cm) long, so your fingers are well out of the way. The strips are optimized for measuring pH in saliva or urine, not in other liquids. The case is 3.5 x 2.75 x 3/8 inches in size, made of hard, clear plastic. The chart for deciphering the colors on the strips is inside the case, protected by the plastic, so you can easily see it. I sometimes have trouble getting the lid off the case, but it is a practical size and protective. Rehydrate Pro also provides a free app for recording and tracking results on mobile devices.If you are using saliva, the instructions recommend testing at least 2 hours after eating. Urine can be tested any time. Wait 10 seconds for results. The strips change color immediately, but some subtle changes may occur up to 10 seconds, and the color scale is pretty subtle. The instructions give guidelines for what would be a normal pH, though it’s an average over time that matters, not a single reading. There is more information on this in the app. Generally, you don’t want to be too acidic. Various diets encourage testing of pH. It’s significance may be questionable, but, if you want to give it a try, these strips make it easy. The strips and app make a handy kit.The app is available for iOS and Android. In the Apple App Store, search for “My pH Tracker.” There is some information about pH in the app, a place to record your pH history, graphs of your pH history, a hydration calculator that tells you how much water you need, and optional reminders for the pH tests and hydration. The app has one big advantage over recording your results on paper: it averages results automatically. You can also record how you feel –tired, hungry, thirsty, healthy- when you test your pH, to see if it is associated with any particular condition. I do like these test strips, they are easy to use, easy to read the results and I am happy with them overall. However, the hard plastic case that they come in is something else. It is a pain in the a** to open and then reclose the lid to the case. It's on real tight and you have to wiggle it back and forth to get it off, and then you have to force it back on. I do not blame the seller for this, since they probably buy the cases from a third party, but they do need to find another company to provide the cases. I finally took all the test strips out of the case and put them in a small zip lock baggie. Also, I would advise that if you chose to keep the test strips in the case, just do NOT try and open the case while you are standing over the toilet. I ALMOST spilled all the strips into the toilet, while I was trying to open the stupid case. This is why I put them into a baggie and tossed the case.

The app idea is great and would have given it 5 stars however measuring acidity is difficult, the higher PH colors are accurate but most of the time when result is acidic the colors are difficult to match with the chart to get the accurate reading, so you know result is acidic but difficult to gauge reading as per chart. Also the plastic container strips are in extremly difficult to open and close, I had to change mine.

The App was nonexistant......half the point of buying this was for the app....oh well, thanks to a house fire, I lost these anyway. Bummer. Oh and the colors didn't always show very clearly like it was hard to compare it because they were so close to each other....for example, the oranges and yellows were just too difficult to compare with the "scale"...

I do not think these strips work. I have been on the Acid/Alkaline diet for two months, feel great, have shed more than 10 lbs, and am no longer feeling the side effects of fibroids, yet these strips consistently read that my body is in a high to moderate acidic state. I'm so confused!In addition, I could not find the free app to download.

It is very hard to match the test strip with the chart. Rarely will you get one that will match any example. I just noticed the picture on the product page. Their own strip doesn't match anything on the chart!! lol I have been using VAXA pH test strips for years which are very easy to match up, and thought I'd try something cheaper. Not these.

I bought this product so i could monitor the pH level of my body. Acidic conditions are associated with a myraid of health problems so it is important to keep your body around 7.4ph. These strips work well and seem accurate. My one complaint is the plastic casing for these strips is hard to close and leaves one fumbling around a bit. Otherwise, good product

I did a lot of research on different ph strips as I'm gonna be using them while I try to get pregnant and it seemed so hard! It seemed like almost all had something to complain about. I was gonna just get a digital reader but that was gonna be SO EXPENSIVE! so I just decided to buy these ones first to see how they work and since they weren't expensive and I am SO glad that I did. They do exactly what they are supposed to do easy to read and can't beat the price!
