Trading Poker Cards by Oliver Velez English

I just received the cards and love them as I am able to review the basic concepts twice daily - morning and evening. I learned a couple of foreign languages with the help of vocabulary flash cards and I know these cards will help me learn the basic concepts of Oliver Velez's trading system.While this may sound like a shameless "plug" for his YouTube channel and other products, you do need to be familiar with his system for these cards to really make sense, so I recommend that you spend some time watching his YouTube videos (and perhaps even buy his products) so they make more sense. These cards are meant for review, not learning, in my opinion.If you think they are expensive, then don't get the cards. I think they are a bargain because I'll be able to make my money back with one profitable trade, and the odds of my having a profitable trade increase each time I review the deck. Most people should not trade, especially those who think that investing in their trading education is "expensive".

These cards are perfect for the trader that follows Oliver’s trading methodology. I’ve seen comments where people thought this was a type of poker game designed to teach candlestick patterns - that is Not the case. The poker reference is in regard to the size of cards, and clever marketing. I have tried to make these cards myself in the past and it is difficult. These cards are high quality and the lessons on the cards are very clear, concise and consistent with Oliver’s trading rules. I like Oliver’s trading videos, and fully buy into his methodology, I wanted to have his rules within reach while trading, especially for entries. These cards absolutely met my expectations as a quick reference tool.

I bought 2 decks of these. One for me and one for a friend.I later went on to purchase his Complete Trader course. I can attest, these cards are the very fundamentals that are taught in the course.My friend is able to understand the same concepts as I with only the cards.If you’re interested in Velez’s teachings but feel the courses/ mentorship is expensive, this is a great place to start.If you’re a beginner and are looking for a learning tool, this is the most accurate and appropriate way to learn: About 40 years of skills boiled down into simple and clear cards.

Excellent and straight to the point. This is the no excuses deck of cards you can play with your family so they can begin to build familiarity without the complex explanation most gurus advertise. Oliver, thank you for changing my life and my legacy for the better. Much love

Great quality easy to use

These cards are well done. They are color coded by whether they are long or call trades. Id’ love to have seen these organized by the different stages of a trade, though, if they are meant to teach the strategy utilized by Velez. Show me opening, SL, trade management and then close. That is the firs thing I did was put them in that order, seperated by long and short plays.The instructions to become a part of the fb group that was advertised were confusing and the responsiveness of their team to help me out as been disappointing. I’d love to start using these in the context of that group.

These cards are outstanding! If you want to become a professional trader, you need to be able to identify the reasons for your entries and exits. These cards outline the identities of trading entries and exits and where to place stops and take profits. I highly recommend these cards in conjunction with journaling. And what better journal than Oliver's? I owe a lot of my trading success to the methods taught by Oliver. I am a professional trader because of Oliver!
