It was great while it lasted.-- first review below (5 stars)Zero complaints about this product. It's simple, easy to clean, works perfectly. My 2 and 4 year old kids love these sippy cups and have no trouble managing the top slide + straw mechanism. The straw insertion and removal are more straightforward (and therefore easier to clean) than any other product I've purchased in the past. Thanks, Jabrics Kids! Great product - make more animals, please :)

This is really geared towards younger kids but my 6-year-old really wanted this one so we got it and passed his old bottle (a Thermos Funtainer) to his younger brother. The handles are big and easy for toddlers to hold but I took them off for my son. It's easy to take apart and clean. My only concern really is that there's a rubber piece in the lid that doesn't come out. It seems like the type of thing that could get moldy unless you let it dry out every night. The straw isn't as wide as the Thermos one - I have a tiny scrubbing thing specifically for straws and it's a tight squeeze - but it's nice that they include an extra straw (just the portion that goes in the bottle, not the top part the kids actually drink from). It doesn't hold a huge amount so if you're sending your child to school, it may not be enough. But all in all we're happy with it and I'd recommend it.

So far no real complaints about this cup. It leaks a little bit when shaken or thrown to the ground but not when the cap is shut. We have not had the pressure build up problem that other cups have where the liquid sprays out on its own. I don't know how long it will keep liquids cool because my son drinks the water too fast to really test that part. I will say though that he throws this thing on the ground A LOT and it hasn't cracked or dented so that's good. The only thing that bugged me was that the 'eyes' of the pig are stickers that fell off in the first wash.

Uodate: I originally gave this a 5 star but have downgrades to 2 stars. It is a cute cup and grand daughter loved it but it is impossible to disassemble the lid parts to clean. Do not take out the rubber piece that is used to sip from as you will never be able to reinsert it. Would not buy again.

Overall cute design with one major flaw. There are no replacement straws available for purchase. It comes with one (silicone straw) and after a month ours had a tear. My daughter sometimes bites the straw and with the constant bending of the straw when closing the top, it ripped. The only way of replacing the straw is to purchase an entire new cup. Not cool.

Had to return. It leaks.... Straw is not silicone, it's plastic. And the pig's eyes are stickers.... sad... it is really hard to find a non plastic/leaky straw bottle.

Very nice thermos for my toddler, it really works on cold days when I need some warm water going outdoors. The only thing I don't like is that it is really hard to put a straw into a lid hole (especially when I'm in rush)
