Brilliant and so easy to use
Brilliant idea, face paints in a crayon form so little to no mess.Good points:+ Very easy to use, crayons are a good shape and thickness. Twist design to get more product out.+ Incased in plastic with a plastic cap, keeps your hands clean when using+ Good range of colours (White, black, red, yellow, blue, orange, pink and green)+ Good colour payoff, you don't need to press hard for the colour to show however you might need to go over the same area a few times to get a solid block of colour+ Wash off easily, only needed soap and water and came clean off however this was from it being on for half an hourNot so good points:- No purple and not easy to mix colours to get other colours or shades- Rounded blunt end, good for covering a large area but not so great for fine details or thin lines.

Great Fun
We had great fun using these on my niece and nephew around Halloween though we did have to do a skin test on both first. They suggest using the inside of the wrist but we made q game of it and put blobs on different body parts as a tester. So we did the inside of the wrist, under the hair on the back of the neck, between the toes, inside the elbow.......basically sensitive areas. Then my sister was going to report if any issues but thankfully not, so I popped back round and started decorating. Now it doesn't say what this paint is made from but it's creamy in texture and dries to a chalky finish. It is suggested not to use on children under 36months. So the actual pens to which there is 8 colours have a lid which you must click back on when not in use to prevent the nib drying out is pretty easy to remove. To get the paint flowing you twist the pens and as the nib is quite a flat rounded shape this will cover a larger area quite quickly. So as the seller suggests to use a fine brush soaked in water for finer detail ( a bit like water colour use). I got a plate and got as much of the colour off the pen in one blob. Then as I wanted to create another colour, I did the same with another blob near by then mixed together using the brush. Yeah this is a bit of a hassle if you don't want to faff but you can get some cool results especially if painting butterflies onto faces. You can use these pens as crudely or professionally as you want. We had great fun decorating their arms initially and they had great fun decorating each others faces too. Also very easy to remove later with a dunk in the bath or a soapy wash in the sink.

Very easy to use face paints.
Eight colours in the pack, (black, white, vivid pink, yellow, orange, green, blue, red), which can be blended with care to give a wider range of shades. The paints are quite creamy and can be applied direct from the stick (ideal for the younger age group, say 3-5 year olds) or, with the addition of a little water, by brush. I find wetting the brush then stroking the brush on the paint is good for finer details.Galt recommend always testing first in case of sensitivity, the inside of the wrist is a useful test area, I think. The paint can be removed by soap and water or cleansing cream, I prefer cleansing cream as it seems gentler on the skin, followed by a good wash in warm soapy water. For role-play, parties, dressing up games and many other activities for a wide range of ages, these paints are very useful and at about £9 for a pack, which can last for several different activities/occasions, they are good value.

easy to apply
This product was a great addition to the galt face paints we already had, and a far less messy alternative to traditional face paints as these are like crayons which are encased in a plastic shell and come with a useful cap. To use, you just twist them when you need to get more out or when they are running down. We found these to have a good coverage on the face without having to push down too hard. The kids found these easy to use and had great fun painting up their faces and these paints are also really easy to wash off with soapy water. The colours included in this set are bright blue, orange, pink, White, black, red, yellow and green and the paint in them goes a long way. The price of these are reasonable and i would not hesitate in recommending this set.
