StreetNshow 1999-2006 Chevy Silverado Gmc Sierra Rear Tailgate Handle Bezel

I broke my factory handle cover when I removed it to grease the rods in my tailgate so it would open and close properly. I did not want to be the stereo typical Chevrolet truck without a cover on my tailgate handle. I found it on here for only $4.99 and immediately purchased it. The item Fit perfectly and installed in 5 seconds.

The top clips broke off as soon as I tried to install it. I locked in the two tops clips first then pivoted downwards to lock in the two bottom ones and as they were locking in I heard the two top ones snap. Perhaps should have locked in the bottom ones first? There weren't any instructions included. Will see if I can get a refund or replacement

I had to remove the small foam pads on both sides because with them in place it made the trim piece stick out a little and I also heated the trim piece up at the top with a heat gun and had to bend it up a little in the middle for better fitment, after that it fit pretty good, although I had to work on the part for a few minutes before installation I would recommend buying this part because it was shipped promptly and it was priced right.

My Husband broke this backing plate while he wasn't of sound mind and, we all know that "it" happens. I didn't want to go to the dealer and pay their trumped up prices. And I didn't want to go to the junk yard for an oxidized used one, either. This plate IS better than OEM because it is OEM AT A KILLER PRICE! Thanks!

It fits right into place, I had no problems with it. It was an easy cosmetic fix for my 2004 Sierra

Just what I had hoped for. Great value and arrived fast.

Product looks great. Price was great with fast shipping. Unfortunately the tabs that hold it in place are not all that sturdy. I read a review stating the same issue but mine broke off too. With that being said, I would recommend BUT you must be very careful and don't force the thing on.
