My 9 yr old boy has really got into this, my 6 yr old girl doesn't have the concentration for it yet.I cross-stitch myself so am familiar with the craft. There is a flaw on the patterns in that the printed pattern has 22 stitches across but the plastic work board has only 21. If you look at the pictures of the made up versions you will see that one of the rows has only been done along the edge with the loop stitch, the same with one of the columns. Once you've worked that out and know which row/column you're ignoring, then it's easy peasy.I also thought initially that I didn't have needles with it - but turns out that both needles are inside one of the packets, for mine it was the robot one.This is excellent value for money for what it is. My 9 yr old has been doing the robot one a bit at a time - he's really worked out how to do it without my help and will be finished soon. He's excited to start the next one. I'm hoping with some more patience my 6 yr old will get into it too.

Yes my granddaughter is enjoying this but as other reviews have said the needles were missing. Luckily I had a needle but have had to order some more plastic needles separately. I suspect the needles fell out as the package was not secure (ie no outer packaging). The supplier needs to take note!!!

I liked the variation in designs included in these kids' cross-stitch kits so one kit could be given to a family where there are both boys and girls. My daughter has tried one design straightaway. (I had to remind myself too as I did cross-stitch at primary school!) A really good item - each project comes in their own packaging inside the box. There are two plastic needles to assist with all six projects. Lovely!

This is a nice little kit with everything you need. The only drawback is that the picture for stitching isn't printed on the white plastic grid so you more or less have to make it up as you go along.

Arrived with no outer packaging and the address label stuck to the product box, box looks a big battered and now has a big sticker mark on the front which ruins it. This has been bought as a present and now doesn't look as good.Product inside looks good quality.

The product is good, what I was hoping to get in terms of quality for something this price, but it arrived without the 2 plastic needles which was disappointed. According to the box, the needles should have been included
