The price is unbeatable and these were just what I was looking for. I wanted floating shelves that were light weight because I was struggling with heavier ones staying in the wall, even with anchors. These look great!

I was a little put off by these just for the fact that they were uneven shelves and I couldn't seem to decide if:1. They would be strong enough. Especially based on the reviews and previous pictures posted.2. That I could make them work in such a way that appeased my somewhat anal retentive symmetry/order obsession.I figured at such a low price, it wasn't much of an investment to take a risk.They came super fast. Sooner than they were supposed to arrive, actually. Having just moved and lost one of my bookshelves to a staircase drop, this was much appreciated as I was hurting for shelving.So I take them out of the box and I immediately am relieved by the dimensions, look and feel of them. I had a best and worst case scenario built in my mind based on pictures...it's hard to gauge with such personal things sometimes. It was definitely a best case scenario turn out.The setup is SUPER simple and all you really need is a screwdriver, which is all that I used. They have little paper cutouts to represent each shelf and all you do is poke a hole through the indicated area with a pencil and mark the wall perfectly with that. Then you can place the shelf on the wall in line with the dots and put the included tiny level (which I will be keeping) on to see if it's even.I would personally recommend doing away with the anchors. Not only could I not get them in, but they seemed to affect the wall in that the more surface space you take up in the wall, the less secure it is and the more likely drywall around it is to crumble and the screws to bend. I found this out when I tried to screw in a big enough hole to fit it. From my observations, not advisable. So I moved my initial holes a bit over from the original ones so they'd be covered by the shelf, but far enough away that the previous holes wouldn't affect the stability of the new ones and voila-super stable shelf. I would also recommend screwing the screws in as much as possible while still being able to get the shelf on them for max stability and strength.I tentatively started testing out the first shelf. First by testing it out with my hands and seeing the resistance that came back from force. Impressive. Then I put my incense burner on it. Didn't budge. Then my incense stick cup. Still good. Then my coffee cup full of pens and pencils. All good. I would however advice trying to put the biggest, lightest objects on the largest shelf and fewer, heavier items on the preceding sizes.Next was the second largest. As you can see from my photo, I have two Halloween jars on this one. I use these to hold change. And change can be HEAVY. I just emptied them recently, so they're not as heavy as they can get, but still pretty substantial. It held up.Next was the second smallest. I was most concerned about this because the statue of Fortuna is MUCH heavier than it looks and quite pricey. Perfectly fine.Then for the smallest I put on my brand new wax burner. This is probably the most stable shelf because the screws are so close together and again, it's heavier than it looks and also super fragile. The idea of wax everywhere if it falls isn't a pleasant idea in my mind. I have the absolute confidence that won't happen.All in all it took me about half an hour to go through this entire process and I'm quite pleased with the result.To be fair, I'm reviewing this immediately after putting them up, but should anything happen to them, I will edit this review to let you know. I spend quite a long time looking at other reviews, so hopefully I've saved someone out there some time with my own as these were the sorts of things I was looking for and wanted to know.

Bought these shelves to organize some knick-knacks in my office. None of the items I put on there were very heavy, so I can't speak to the weight-bearing capacity of the shelves or hardware that came with them. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they came complete with screws, drywall anchors, a small bubble level, and (the best part) templates for marking the wall. With these kinds of shelves, figuring out the placement of the anchors is the most difficult part, but these templates made the install a breeze. My husband and I knocked it out in about 20 minutes for all 5 shelves.The reason I deducted a star was because the long shelf came with some pretty serious paint missing right on the front edge. At first I thought "oh, that might just give it a nice distressed look" but it really just looks scratched. Since they're just plain black, I can touch it up myself with a little paint or even marker, so it's not a huge deal, but the original box was pretty banged up inside the amazon shipping box so I feel like the packaging overall could have been better and saved me the trouble of having to paint a brand new shelf. Aside from that, I do highly recommend this set!

First, even with the template these aren't easy to install, but if you buy these enough times, you'll be a pro, so it gets easier. The value for the price makes the headache worth it.I love these shelves. They are very light weight. SInce I wanted to put a few things that were very precious to me, we opted to use our own wall anchors and screws for added stability.The shelves come with the hardware, but my husband wanted longer screws, that's why we chose our own.The quality of the shelves is fair to good. There were a few flaws with the paint job along the back part of shelves, but since you can't see that when the shelf is on the wall, it wasn't a problem for me.I've purchased a 2 pack, this four pack and when posting this review, an additional 4 pack should be delivered sometime this week.

These things are not easy to install. They're a pain in the butt. Once you get them up, they do look nice, however, do not put anything heavier than a couple small plushies or pops on them. They cannot hold much weight at all. I bought them simply to show off a few small plushies that I own. If you want to place books or mugs or figures, I recommend spending a prettier penny to get something better. It'll be worth it in the long run.they are cheap with thin paint and fragile. Never underpay without expecting consequences. I bought these for the express purpose of showing small, light, unbreakable items because they were cheap. To anyone that can actually get them higher than five feet off the group, I commend you. I'm stupid short so these were just such a pain. Enjoy your shelves. You should always expect shoddy work if theyre super cheap like this so please don't throw a fit if something happens.

These shelves are very beautiful and solid. I did find the instructions for mounting to be more complicated than necessary. Thanks to You Tube I had them up, level and ready to use within a couple of hours.

Están muy bonitas, tamaño tal como se describe aunque no son de muy buen material si están bien para decoración o para poner objetos no muy pesados. Algunos detalles pero en general están muy bonitas.

Simple fixing by putting 2 screws per shelf only down side is the fixing on the shelf ate now put on level so impossible to get the shelf level

A great little set of shelves. Not sure why the negative reviews on the instructions. They were easy to follow and definitely helped with installing. I wish more companies had come with guides as these ones did! Just pin it to the wall and have a second hand to make sure it's level and you're good to go!Would consider buying these again in the future!
