Support Socks - Provides Achilles Tendon Support , Plantar Fasciitis Support , Arch Support and Arch Pain Relief - Medical Grade (Pair) X-Large

The HealthMaxx Support Socks have been a wonderful surprise. I thought I would try them for the Achilles Tendon Support feature. I decided on these because of the open toe, above ankle height and the AT support stitching that followed the tendon from the heel upward in both back and side support. I already have tried many alternatives both before and after because of my right tendon surgery. I ordered the Medium first as that is the recommended size for my 9 1/2 -10 foot. I thought I would start there and found that they are definitely great for the arch of the foot and too tight for Achilles if you use the chart. So I ordered the Large (saving the medium pair for my soccer playing grandkid ) The Large is perfect. I could walk comfortably and their an added benefit that the sock under my sport socks in my waling shoes provided heel slip for the annoying tendon support "lumps" placed in the backs of all supporting shoes now. I am SO Pleased ! Knowing that I was having surgery on my left AT tendon in less than 2 weeks... I ordered and XL so I could wear them for longer periods on last years repaired right ankle that was going to be the power foot while I was on my knee scooter for 6 weeks minimum. For me it is very important that I do not injure with too much support and also that I heal back to better than normal so my sports can be resumed by giving less compression gradually so the tendon becomes stronger. It must gradually be allowed to stretch again. I have washed the socks in the sink and hung them to dry. Was so easy. The socks are true compression socks so put them on, like placing fine hosiery, using both hands placing the sock from the toes slowly sitting the heel cup and up the ankle staying straight the whole time.where you want it over your foot and ankle. The medium was too tight for an Achilles injury in my size ( 9 1/5-10 slender legs) ...the Large perfect... and the XL feels like heaven when on for all day. I have slender legs and ankles so the XL top band is not active. I am thrilled with these socks, that they come as a pair, and are reasonably priced. I'll add pictures and more to this review when I am more active.

Absolutely love these. I would highly recommend them to anyone suffering from foot pain. I read a review that said something like "they are so great I would put them on and want to sleep in them. I never want to take them off". I thought for sure it was a crock of bull. Let me tell you. I completely agree. They helped that much. Hope this helps.

I bought these support socks for my sister who was having pain in her feet, heel and ankle. I just bought a pair for her to try and see if it helped and see if she liked it. To my amazement, she wore it to work and loved it. She said it felt really good and helped with the pain. So, needless to say, I came back and got her a couple more. She said it's a 5 star product. Thank you!

Well the charts for size are completely different from on here to on the box that came I wish I would of known that, because they are tight on my mom and barely fit!!! It was suppose to be almost to size 15 for wider feet for women. Here the pic of the box with totally different sizing.

Size was too small for my foot- I wear a size 13 shoe and the tightness caused more pain after several days then what I originally had with my heel -for smaller feet this would do well

They felt very good on my feet. They did help circulation. First time in a long time that my toes did not get cold sitting at my desk at work and my ankles did not swell.

Fit was fine and excellent to use for what I needed it for.

I have Achilles tendinitis and this didn't do a thing for it, unfortunately. Maybe works better for fasciitis....
